It is finally FRIDAY! Thank God! :) :) :) Not sure how it's possible but this entire week felt like a Friday--must mean I have too many things to do to know what day it is! Work has been crazy hectic and so has my everyday life! So I was going to pack my entire kitchen last night. Got about 1/3 done it and gave up to clean because I killed 3 baby centipedes in the process of packing. YUCK. I took a 2 hour break and watched Bridesmaids. Boy do I wish I hadn't....it was funny in all of about 2 spots. The rest just depressed me and made me thank God for where I am at in life. (good job, married, know what I want, etc). The only funny one in the whole movie was that big girl (can't remember her name in real life). All in all, my time would have been better spent packing lol. oh well! I did get alot accomplished. But I can't unpack it in the new place tonight like i originally planned because my trunk is full from my shopping excursion at Home Sense to spend the rest of ou...

Is it Friday yet???? In fact, you would swear from how my morning is going that it was a Monday, so I guess I'm ahead of the game! I woke up and shut my alarm off this morning and fell back asleep for an extra 20 mins, stubbed my toe on the dresser trying to navigate through my room in the dark. Once I started doing my hair, I realised "wow, I'm having a good hair day!" (which doesn't happen often). I get in my car, and drive to the bus stop. I get to the bus stop just as my bus arrives (lucky I suppose) and as soon as I get off the bus to make my 5 block walk to work, it downpours. Flashbacks to the night before when I took my umbrella out of my purse went through my mind as my good hair day went down the drain lol. Oh well! Such is life :) Hopefully the rest of the day picks up a bit more! While I was busy at work yesterday, my parents along with Ty and some friends went out to the house to do a bit of work. Ok so I missed a few days there--sorry! :) Last time I wrote was last Thursday I suppose. So a lot has happened since then! Here we go... So Thursday after work, we went and signed the papers at the lawyers office (can't remember if I said this already) and spent a small fortune at Bulk Barn on snacks--but that's besides the point hehe. Friday afternoon, I left work around 10:45. My parents came to visit and we went scouting for appliances (as our kitchen will need new ones BADLY). We walked away empty handed that day as there was a pretty big time push--we got our keys around 2:36pm. Out to Embrun we went! How exciting! My mom has a picture of me with the "sold sign" in the front yard but I don't have it yet (Tyler was already too busy on the roof to come down for the picture). We are slowly chugging along to Friday :) Tomorrow is only a half day for me, so I guess that puts me ahead of the game :) We are meeting with the Lawyer tonight to sign off on all of his paperwork and pay him his fees. We get our keys tomorrow! Woot, woot! I don't know what we will do with ourselves once all of this craziness settles down! Then it will be time to dig into planning our honeymoon I guess! My new manager is not here today or tomorrow as all of her furniture has arrived in finally from where she was staying in Rome for the past two years. I must say I have been pleasantly surprised. I have heard a lot about her from people around here--and she has lived up to none of those things with me. In fact, we have a lot in common! I studied quite a bit of Religion in University and we struck a note of similarity there--it also fascinates her--in fact, she travels the world to go to religious landmark...

I cannot believe it is only Wednesday. I literally left work yesterday and crossed Wednesday off my whiteboard calendar as I had crossed Tuesday off the day before! No wonder this week felt like it was going so darn fast! Nope:( Last night I finished packing the basement. What a pain! I thought there was hardly anything down there!! But there were quite a few of Tyler's "random things" boxes that never got unpacked and I wanted to go through them--thank god he wasn't with me :) hahah...I threw alot of old wires that were good for nothing out and all the old christmas lights that only half work. So much JUNK! I am hoping to start tackling the kitchen tonight--I keep planning on doing it but the basement keeps stoping me. Well, not anymore! hehe. Gonna be a good yardsale! I think I'll get Ty to ask the Legion or something if we can borrow a few tables for that day because I don't want him tossing stuff on the grass like last time--it looks so cheap--or is that...

Another busy morning! I hope it keeps up like this! Winter will just fly by :) Last night after work, I headed over to Halley's Service Center for an e-test for the car. Passed by flying colours! I was worried she would fail because of the noises I could hear the car making--couldn't say I was a fan of how much they push the car to get those readings, but it worked out well in the end! Tonight I have to go get the licence plates renewed (that' why I went for the e-test). So after I get home, I do a bit of cleaning--some dishes, a load of laundry and I start to cook supper since Tyler would be home "in an hourish" according to him. So I decided to make rotini pasta with a homemade sauce and some hot italian sausage and a side of some garlic bread (which was all really tasty after all was said and done). But I was cutting up my jalapeno---and even was VERY careful to get rid of all the seeds AND wash my hands TWICE with efoliating scrubing soap!! However--I gues...

What a crazy morning! And it's still going! At least it's going by quickly :) This morning I got to work and it was hectic right off the bat! My new Manager starts today and I was a little worried. I had dreams about tornadoes all night last night and looked it up this morning. Apparently this means I am stressed out about things out of my control--so true. I will be happy when this week is over to say the least! So this weekend was pretty busy (or felt busy but really wasn't). Friday night Ty and I just stayed in and watched some tv and movies with a glass or two of wine and ordered in (I had a club house :) ). Saturday during the day I just cleaned up a bit in the morning--we woke up fairly early so Ty did the dishes and cleaned the washroom and I did some laundry/swept/mopped, etc. Then my parents came to town to run some errands and met up with Tyler and I for lunch with my aunt and uncle and mother-in-law (Swiss Chalet, of course:)) After that we went around pricing...

Ok can I first start off by saying YAYYYY!!! (It's Friday). Today should go by fairly quickly as it seems to be pretty busy this morning (writing in between tasks). This morning however was awfully chilly! I had a sweater on with a fall coat overtop and was wishing for a hat and mitts at the bus stop! It was 6 degrees when I left for work and I am always reminded when this weather begins how NOT cut out for winter weather I am. Maybe I should move to Hawaii *sigh* And to think--it will get up to 41 degrees colder then this over the course of a winter. YUCK. I really do love my hot weather! At least we'll have a bit of a break this year with our honeymoon coming up sometime in January or so :) Today at lunch, myself and Dolly, Shan, (maybe) Stephanie and cousin Brenda are all going out for lunch. I had weird dreams all night but I can't remember any of them. I hate that. Having weird dreams and not remembering them or being able to make sense of any of them makes the whole day afterwards feel strangely dream-like. It doesn't help that the days are getting shorter so when I leave for work at 6, it is still pitch black. I still don't feel fully awake and it's shortly after 7--it's such an eerie feeling. On the upside--it's Thursday! Which means I can see the light at the end of the tunnel to the weekend! Yay! :) I have to make sure to remember to get an e-test done on the car  so that I can go get my liscence renewed! I keep forgetting! I also need an oil change. So likely two birds with one stone. My garage I like to go here is closed for renovations though, so I will have to find another place I like in the meantime! We would take it up to Notman's in Cornwall where Tyler used to work, but they've recently started closing on Saturdays AND Sunda...

Happy Hump Day everyone!! Life is slowly shifting back into "normal" mode for the next few days anyways! I love it! Last night after work, Tyler picked me up  (during a torrential downpour, may I add--yuck!). We made our way to the Carling area and signed our Mortgage papers! He was in a bit of a rush though, so we didn't get any pictures of us signing for our new/first real home :( But hopefully they'll let us stick that sold sign on (if the realtor hasn't already). How exciting! Now the real work begins--renos! It's going to be pretty challenging the first little bit though, as the bulk of our work needs to be done on weekends when we have a good solid 10 hours to stick into the work at a time. The day after we take possession is a Saturday and Tyler has a gig that night (so we could work Friday night and Saturday morning) but the Sunday following that is my birthday--so hopefully we won't be doing too much work that weekend! After reading hers, I have decided that maybe having some sort of outlet to rant/chat/ramble on would be a good way to clear my mind!
