What a crazy morning! And it's still going! At least it's going by quickly :)
This morning I got to work and it was hectic right off the bat! My new Manager starts today and I was a little worried. I had dreams about tornadoes all night last night and looked it up this morning. Apparently this means I am stressed out about things out of my control--so true. I will be happy when this week is over to say the least!
So this weekend was pretty busy (or felt busy but really wasn't). Friday night Ty and I just stayed in and watched some tv and movies with a glass or two of wine and ordered in (I had a club house :) ). Saturday during the day I just cleaned up a bit in the morning--we woke up fairly early so Ty did the dishes and cleaned the washroom and I did some laundry/swept/mopped, etc. Then my parents came to town to run some errands and met up with Tyler and I for lunch with my aunt and uncle and mother-in-law (Swiss Chalet, of course:)) After that we went around pricing out cabinets/appliances/furniture and paint colours and stopped by 3 places for Tyler to do some quotes for work. Then went home and took a short nap and headed out to uncle Bill's 65th birthday! What a wonderful night :) It was quite late when we got home though so Robbie and Amber slept on our futon.
In the morning, Tyler went off to work for a bit and Amber and I went and hit up Home Outfitters and Home Sense to spend some gift cards from the wedding. I didn't spend it all but bought some good stuff :) I only have a few more things to grab before the move happens. We've decided to get the renos done as quick as possible and move in Saturday October 8. We got our insurance all set up this morning and I'm working on getting my bus pass changed :) So many little things that can so easily be overlooked!
I just called and booked my e-test for the car tonight so I can go one night this week to get my liscence renewed (here's hoping it passes! hehe). Then I just need an oil change and she's good as new!
This week is going to prove to be pretty crazy and I can already feel the stress building. But it's already so worth it! Tyler is such a help during things like this I hardly have to do anything or worry about anything (though I always figure out a way to do so anyways!). The only thing is he's not much of a packer and I will have to do all that hehe..oh well!
Our videographer is just making up copies of our DVD now--we should have our video and the still pictures he took later this week :) I am SO excited to watch it all again. It really does feel like a dream--like not real! It'll be nice to see it again!!
Anyways--back to my crazy Monday. Enjoy the beginning to a new work week everyone!!
