What a crazy Monday morning! I am surprised I made it to work in one piece. If you had asked me 2 hours ago, I would have told you I shouldn't even be here, but things are looking up :)
I hit the snooze button twice this morning (usually only hit it once) and woke up feeling sick to my stomach. I was so feverish I just spent 10 minutes in the bathroom leaning up again the tiled walls. I shut the heat off and put cold water on my face. It didn't get any better as I was getting ready. I seriously debated staying home but since it looks bad calling in sick Monday mornings (people always think "yah right--they just wanted to sleep in"), I decided to shove through it and get in the car.
On the way to the car, I tripped and nearly sprained my ankle. I fell onto my freezing wet car instead of the alternative of the cold wet grass lol. Picked Dolly up only to find her morning isn't going much better. An hour and 20 minutes later, we were in subway fixing our morning. Had the usual egg white breakfast sandwhich with a side of OJ this morning and I am feeling much better already :) Also, I don't see any rain in the forecast for the rest of the week (other then today) so that's a good thing too! :)
So Friday night we were pretty boring! We stayed home and watched some tv and relaxed! Saturday Tyler went to work and I unpacked another bathroom box and cleaned up a bit! We watched the movie The Rite (with Anthony Hopkins) that night as Tyler was still sick and not feeling well. It was ok! Not too scary, which I like! On Sunday, we woke up and we went to eat at a breakfast joint in Embrun called Buymore. It was delicious! Then we went into town and Ty had to do some work so I waited in the truck and then we went to Walmart and picked up our Halloween candy for the kiddies and a few Halloween decorations and some necessities (shampoo, etc). Then made our way over to Party Mart and bought our costumes for the weekend and made our way next door for dinner! We had been planning to go to Wild Wing for dinner all night so it's just convenient we wound up at a party store right next to it :) I had some GarPar wings (Garlic/Parmesean) and Ty had some spicier flavours (Cajun and Buckin' Bronco) and we headed home.
Ty put up the new shower rod and we each took a shower (no more baths for a while I think lol) and put on some comfy pjs and fell asleep to The Perfect Storm.
Today is slowly winding up--it's promising to be a pretty busy day/week. I do have Friday off as I have a doctors appointment and then we are heading to the paintball field. I havent decided whether I will play or just wait in the truck for the 4 hours for Ty (It's a night game and will be pretty cold out!). Then we are off to Quyon for the night (maybe two nights--haven't decided yet) because Ty is playing there for Halloween. Should be a good time :) We have invited one of Tyler's employees/friends Larry and his girlfriend Karen along for some change of pace!
Anyways--not much else is new here! I will end with a quiz thing taken from Shannon's blog :)
