*sigh* Monday again.
The weekends go so quickly when you keep busy :(.
On Thursday, Ty left for the fishing derby. Friday after work, I went out to Embrun and worked around a bit at the new house with my parents. We camped out in the living room for the night. Note to self:get a new air mattress as this one has a slow leak and results in sleeping on a hardwood floor lol.
Saturday morning we went to Cornwall to go to my cousins baby (Ethan's) baptism. He is so cute and well behaved--even with being sick. We got him a couple cute outfits and bibs (one says "This is what handsome lookes like) and a little blanket that has a built in rattle. We didn't get to stay at the dinner long enough for cake and gifts as it was quite a long evening. We headed back to Embrun just so I could get my car--my parents headed back home and I went back to Ottawa. On the way back, I stopped for gas. I pumped it ($43.00 worth) and headed inside to pay--the pump hadn't registered the gas so the guys gave it to me for free! :) What a good Saturday! hehe. After I got home, Shan came over and we watched Bridesmaids (my second time) and ate some chips, etc and went right to bed. I could hardly keep my eyes open!
Sunday, I woke up, Shan went home and I went out to Canadian Tire to pick up some new kitchen things I need. Went home and started packing more of the kitchen. Not long after that Ty came home, so I quit that for a while and hung out with him, had a nap and watched Bridesmaids AGAIN because he wanted to see it lol. We ordered dinner and vegged out on the couch. I finished packing the kitchen last night finally, so hopefully he will get the boxes to the house today and tonight we can finish unpacking. I went out yesterday for about 25 mins and unpacked the new cutlery, dishes and cups and the new big utensils (spatulas, etc) into its container as well. Should have the kitchen done tonight. Ty should be spending the day out there so hopefully he will get that cupboard over the stove out with the range to make room for the new one, and I'll clean behind the fridge and stove tonight if I get a chance :) The appliances should be in today so I will have to call when we're ready for them! Anyways, I sent the hubby a to-do list this morning, so hopefully he puts a good dent in it if he gets out there!
How was everyone elses' weekend? What did you guys do? We just have to get through this week and it'll be the long weekend full of turkey and stuffing! :) Bring it on!!
