So I guess I'll just start with a little recap of my evening!
After work and the hour long bus ride to get home, my dad was still there when I arrived. We visited for a few minutes before he headed out--we offered to take him out for dinner since he hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and I could hear his stomach rumbling! :( He said no and headed home--We then headed into Ottawa--Tyler dropped me off at the house on Blair and I finished off the bathroom--so the living room, bathroom and kitchen are now completely empty aside from a few things in the fridge and freezer! I gathered together some more clothes/coats and the last of the bathroom stuff and we headed out.
We decided to go to Swiss Chalet for dinner, so on the way we stopped at Shan's to drop off a shower curtain and mat to her and invited her along to dinner and Dolly joined us as well (left the grocery store in the middle of shopping to join us, actually haha).
After dinner, we brought Shan home and headed back to Embrun. I unpacked the last of the bathroom stuff, took a shower and went to bed!
Tonight I have to go to the grocery store to pick up a few things for my baked goods for the bake sale at work on the 27th--I am making mini pumpkin cupcakes with homemade cream cheese icing...hopefully they make it to the bakesale with Tyler in the house! lol.
So I saw this idea on Dolly's blog yesterday and I love it :) It's all her favourite scents--but since I have so many of them, I will separate them by category :) Here we go!
Household Cleaners:
1) Mr. Clean and Febreze : Citrus and Light Scent
2) Pinesol--everyone knows this smell. It reminds me of when I was little and I love the smell even though it's not my first choice in cleaning product!
3) Lysol Wipes (I love the lemon ones) but lately I've been using the purple kind with the scrubby side on it!
4) Pledge Spray--no longer in an aerosol can! But in a spray bottle. It's so thick and adds so much moisture! I love it
Laundry Scents:
So I change my tastes a lot in the smell of laundry detergents, etc. Here is what I like right now:
1) Tide with Acti-lift
2) Downy Fabric Softener (liquid)
3) Bounce Fabric Softener dryer sheets
4) Glade "Clean Linen" linen spray
Air Freshener Scents:
1) Air Wick Mountain Breeze --out of the automatic dispenser
2)From the home edition: the Febreze wood -wick Rosewood-Plum candle
3) Febreze Winter Evening and Warmth air freshner (no pictures of this exist apparently lol)
4) Bath and Body Works Lemon air freshener (again, no pictures)
Beauty Smells:
1) Always and forever my favourite perfume is "Hot Couture" by Givenchy--both mine and Ty's favourite perfume :)
2) Now my favourite cologne of Ty's--Hei by Alfred Sung--He wore it on our first date and I just love it--smells like comfort and safety to me :) It also kind of smells like the Febreze winter air freshner LOL
3) Dove body wash (I get sick of it sometimes but I always go back to it--smells SO fresh and clean!)
4) Tyler's Nivea bodywash for men--again with the fresh smell! I love the smell of the washroom after he showers with this!
5) Sunscreen--I absolutely love the smell--I never wear it usually but I LOVE it :)
Random Smells:
1) Any baked goods in the over
2) Savoury or onion/garlic-y dishes cooking
3) Freshly Mowed lawns
4) Cool rain on a hot summer day
5) When you can smell laundry outside (happens a lot in the winter)
6) Pools (the chlorine)
7) Fresh, crisp, clean air
8) Leaves in autumn--I know it's the smell of the leaves rotting but I love it
9) Someone having a bonfire!
