Just one little nap...

For the last two days the sleep Gods have not been in my favour. I have a bit of a head cold and it is making it totally impossible to sleep. Also, I am usually asleep for all the rustles coming from Garett in the night, but being awake, I go in and check on every move he makes, and Tyler has been grinding his teeth extra loud. So...going on about 4 hours sleep in two days. Normally, I would function ok on that little, but with the baby in my care all day, it's a bit rougher. I am hoping he takes a nice long nap this afternoon, because that's all I want, just one little nap! Lol

I am getting really fed up with my compensation advisor. Not only does she never respond to my emails, she also is always late entering my payment info so I get my pay on average 3 days late. Idiot.

We need groceries badly. With the Bbqs I had to make sure there wasn't too much in the fridge so I could fit all the salads and stuff in there. Now it's looking like mother hubards cupboard lol

I need to get out to do groceries, go get prizes for the shower and the food/ drinks I need to bring, a card, and catch up on all the laundry of sheets from guest beds, the baby's, Tyler's work clothes, sweep, mop, do dishes and vacuum. I know I've said it before, but I really don't know how you can be caught up on chores one day and literally the next day be more behind then when you started. And I know it's not ME making the mess and Garett can't walk so....haha

I think we have decided against Tremblant this year. We wanted to go for 3 nights but I don't like the idea of leaving home for three nights when we don't have to. Then we considered getting a chalet out of the pedestrian village so we could bring Garett and have everything there with us in a fully stocked house, but then we would miss all the night shows, so there's not really any purpose in going at all lol. 

Ok, enough with the complaining (I hate being sick and tired And grumpy lol)

As I mentioned before, Tyler opened his July date envelope and we set the date for July 14, but I didn't have a picture so I didn't say what it was. This month, we are going for breakfast at our favourite place (pipers), then spending the day at the Canadian War Museum since Tyler hasn't been to it since it was renovated Nd has been wanting to go for literally years and we haven't gone! Then followed by a late lunch at the Green Papaya (Thai cuisine) on Preston :) I am pretty excited!!


I am working on uploading photos all the way back from Cuba on the Walmart website to start sending them in to get printed. What a huge endeavour lol I never should have gotten so far behind !!

Garett is in full beast mode this morning (roaring constantly lol) so I am going to take a break and go play or a while so he gets tired out and naps for mama :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
