It's the most hectic time of the year

We had a busy morning over here colouring and snipping away. We put up the last of the décor for the kids Christmas party tomorrow, and I must say the three of us that did it, did an awesome job. Endless ornaments and coffee filter snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, wrapped EVERY cubicle like a present, 100 carolling snowmen made out of construction paper, scenes of snow hills and Disney characters tobogganing, tons of paper link garland, bows, etc...looks so Christmas-y :) Taking it down will be NO FUN haha

We are off to the spa for an hour or so of pampering...they have enough chairs and estheticians to do all six of us at once so we can chat :) Very friendly and accommodating staff here:

We are all getting the Warm "Happy Feet" Pedicure:

The feet are soaked, the nails are reshaped, the cuticles are groomed and conditioned and the calluses are smoothed.
The feet are treated to a sugar scrub with cinnamon , a tangerine warming mask is applied and a massage is performed with a warming Gehwol Cream.
  • The mask: an exclusive blend of essential minerals that help regenerate and revitalize the skin. The warm effect can provide temporary relief to minor aches and pain.
  • The Polish: choose from our most current collection of OPI colors and our Deborah Lippmann collections colors that are exclusive to our Spa
(We are excited!)

Afterwards, we are staying in the area and hitting up Jonny Canucks for some good old fashioned pub fare. http://www.jonnycanucks.com/

Ty will be picking G up tonight, and I just need to stop at the post office on the way home--some of G's birthday party decorations have arrived :)

I picked up his invitations last night and will mail them out to the few family members that are invited (He's not having big birthdays for another year or two yet--too many people around when he already has too many toys, so keeping it small :)). They are so cute, I love them! I had also ordered and 8x10 of my favourite family picture of us to replace the picture of me and G in the frame in our living room upstairs--this way daddy actually exists in pictures around the house also lol.

We gave our daycare provider her gift/money/card yesterday and she just loved it :) I love being able to put a smile on someones face. Much better than receiving gifts, that's for sure!

I also completed the careful assembly of Garett's stocking. It required a lot of strategy the way things are stacked in there so it stays standing on its own (well...leaning up against the wall or couch haha)

I am almost all caught up on laundry again, which excites me --I hate going out and about for a few days and coming home to a huge pile and a mess. Need to finish cleaning house before tomorrow evening!

We are off for the day shortly, and if I don't have time to write tomorrow, I will do a catch up on Monday :) Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
