Love/Hate
Things I am loving:
- Tyler being home early
- My new parking spot at work (it's a truck sized spot and is SO close to the entrance and exit--no more going down three stories to park!)
- All the things coming up to look forward to
- That me and two girls from work are taking an actual lunch today and going to Target, going for lunch and to grab cupcakes for the office for V-day
- The morning Hot Tub on long drives into work
- Garett being so playful and smart
- Catching up on work after being off for 2 days
- My new (though temporary) hair do (I have to go back on March 11 for the second part)
- Writing in new notebooks/new office supplies
- New found love of socks
Things I am hating:
- How long it takes to lighten you hair when your hair is naturally darker--well...in a healthy way anyways. I could go lighter quickly, but it would take a long time at the salon and kill my hair.
- When it snows a bit and people freak out. The roads weren't even bad this morning, but it still took that extra 30 minutes because people are driving 20km/hr on the 417. (Get off the road!)
- Working. I love my job but the commute, the falling behind on housework and cooking dinner is really wearing. I love being home more so I can pay more attention to my family, have a spotless house and dinner ready for when everyone gets home. Come onnnnnnn stay at home mom status level!!! lol (also looking forward to the move into town in the next year or two--this will help).
- The cats. They are annoying me lately. We keep the gate at the top of the stairs closed at night now, because G can wander around at night if the mood strikes (which it hasn't yet--but I don't want to be in the news for a two year old roaming the streets), so they are constantly jumping over it (loudly), running around at night, jumping on us, and the other night we had an inch of water in the tub for g to splash in and forgot to drain it and Steve jumped in at 1am and I thought he was dying in there. He struggled to haul-butt over the edge to get out so Ty had to jump up and see if he needed actual saving (he was fine lol)...oh...and vacuuming every other day. That's annoying. I love them though :(
