My kingdom for a good nights sleep

I have a problem, folks.

I go to bed too late. I wake up too early. And I have a horrible nights sleep in the middle.

I am blessed with a wonderful 2 year old that values his sleep as much as my husband and I. But I am jealous. Jealous of Garett and jealous of Tyler. For they have found good sleeping positions, night time rituals and have a nice solid sleep. Lately, I have been tossing and turning. I cant get comfortable and I get super grouchy and want to do nothing but kick Tyler repeatedly for being in dream-land bliss lol.

I'm fairly certain it's my pillows. My quest for the perfect pillow is ongoing, and it truly does change your sleep. We have a nice soft bed, I realised while I was pregnant that sleeping with a pillow between your knees DOES help those pains you get through the day and nothing beats sleeping on fresh sheets more often than most people do. But my pillows. I can't get it right. First I thought it would be brilliant to sleep on a cloud. WRONG. My head sunk down too far and I almost suffocated with every breath.

Then I thought, well I must like more firm pillows. We bought really good firm pillows. I HATE them. They hurt my neck. The only good thing about them are they are good to pile up behind you to lean on. Other than that: rendered totally useless.

We've bought many middle of the road pillows and they just lose their Oomph so fast. I am scared to buy more really expensive pillows because I will hate them. The struggle is real. Does anyone else have an excess of pillows around their house because they are picky? How does one even dispose of pillows?! Jeepers.

Anyways...aside from being constantly tired (melodrama for the win), life is good!
(29 more days until my trip--but who is counting? :))
