Tuesday Blues
I am so tired this morning. So very, very tired.
I stayed up way too late on a work night watching two episodes of "Mistresses" after Garett went to bed around 8:45. Ty and I cuddled in bed and talked for about 45 minutes in the dark, while the rain poured down. It doesn't get cozier than that. We fell asleep, and it was brutal waking up this morning. Still dark and rainy; those are the days I want to stay in my pjs and watch my shows and bury myself under soft blankets. Why, universe, why?! I plead.
Garett got up while I was getting ready, and climbed into bed with daddy. When I came out, the sight of the two of them, G enveloped in Tyler's arms, I had to resist the urge to jump in and announce I'M STAYING HOME TODAY!!! at the top of my lungs. Nope, I kissed them both goodbye and headed out :(
Yesterday before picking up Garett, I had a few extra minutes to stop for my passport renewal pictures. I went to the Shopper's in Embrun, and she informed me that the printer was broken, after looking around for a few seconds, noticing the line behind me was long. I may or may not have snapped back "is it really broken , or are you just too busy?" Oops. But seriously, ain't nobody got time for that. I KNOW you're lying.
So I went up the road to photomania, and had it done instead. I was in and out in like 3 minutes, and even bought a fancy new pink selfie stick for our short trip coming up in November :)

I picked up my boy, crawled around playing Garett's own version of "red light, green light", until it was time to start dinner. I have been wanting meatloaf lately, and I keep meaning to make it, but never got around, so I made some for dinner.
Baths ensued.
We also watched our first episode of Dexter--note to self, Garett cannot be around when we watch this. It was all I could do to get him to look away for the majority of the show--I never realized it was actually gory. This will be a "after G goes to bed" endeavour from now on.
I decided to find my passport as well. Lo and behold, not in the place I could swear I left it last. I tore the house apart, looking in all of my "spots". Nope, notta. Should be interesting to see where it winds up being. Tonight, we search as a family lol. I need to get that sent off ASAP.
Who else is tired today?! Curse you, Tuesdays, curse you.
Let's top it off by dying at my rebounding class tonight. :)
Happy Tuesday, all!
