~weekend recap~

Guess how many pictures I have from this weekend ? If you said zero, you would be absolutely right.  

The weekend began by finishing my four in a row workouts on Friday. This week is the same :( it's hard, but it's what my schedule allows often. I had made pork chops, broccoli and goat cheese salad before I left, but Ty reminded me about cheat meal, so I got a hamburger and a peanut buster parfait and spent the entire evening thinking I was going to die in the bathroom. Yep, cheat meal is not a fun event. 

Saturday we were out of town for the day for my moms birthday :) it was nice to spend the day with everyone. We had a lot of fun and g talked about his time there all day Sunday. 

Sunday Tyler headed into work for an hour in the morning, and I headed into Orleans to meet a few girls at movies for a yummy brunch (I had an egg white, spinach, feta, tomato and onion scramble. So good!). I headed home and the boys were playing in the yard. We spent the day playing and laid in bed at 7:00 to watch Theory of Everything (Stephen hawking movie) and all cuddled. Tyler made my night when I looked over at him and he was looking at me and said "you're really beautiful, aren't you? Like really beautiful.." As I was cuddling with Garett. Holy melt my heart. Its true though, even the other way around, I find I notice how much more I love him or think he's handsome when he's holding our son.  I guess it's just one of those things!  Anyways, the movie was average (at best), and when it was over, it was time for bed for everyone ! I had just organized G's room that day so he was very excited to get to bed in there. 

Not much is up for this week. Tonight Tyler has a dinner with my in laws that g and I can't make because it too early in the evening, then I have the gym for the rest of the week. I will have to do groceries some night this week as well. Exciting , right? I lead such a cool life? Not lol

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
