What I'm loving Wednesday!
Another week that is passing slowly--but that always seems to be the case when we have so much going on through the weeks. It's just surviving from one thing to the next!
1) I'm loving this little girls obsession with Yogurt, and watching her feed it to herself is maybe the cutest thing EVER.
2) I'm loving that I started this book finally, and while it is not life changing information (mostly tools I already had in my arsenal), I do find it is a good reminder to really reassess the things that are important. Avoiding conversations I don't care about, people that don't bring happiness/use to my life=bye, and how to get it all done without looking like a jerk. I'm glad I didn't pay $20 for it, but I signed out the e-book on the library website and am reading it through their App :)
3) That Keira said "PEE PEE" to us the other day, so I took her and held her on the toilet, and she peed. So we went and bought her a potty yesterday, and she peed on it (on her own) TWICE last night :( She's not even 1.5 yet! Where has my baby gone!!!?
4) Tyler's cake arrived last night instead of tonight. So I showed him , and we opened his gifts (he doesn't get to eat it until tonight). But I ordered a cake-replica of his new Ibanez BTB Bass cake. He loved it!
5) I made Tyler one of his favourites last night -Chicken Broccoli Divan (except we add egg noodles and curry). He had requested it for dinner tonight, but I hate serving curry dishes to other people because not everyone likes it. So after dinner was cleaned up and the kids were upstairs bathing, I got started on tonights meal. A delicious homemade lasagna. So all I have to do is throw it in the oven and bake it tonight, and make the garlic bread and Caesar salad! Easy!
6) Loving having Tyler at home through the day so he can get all the errands and tidying up done! Last night he scrubbed our ensuite down (it was getting out of hand, being the catch-all bathroom).
7) Also loving that since he's home, it means I don't have to take off more time with the kids whenever they are sick. G's medicine is working, but we have been keeping him home all week. Today he was going to go back, but his class is going skating today, and I don't think he should be doing that right now, so he is home for another day. Keira was very restless last night and got hardly any sleep (HELLO Super blue full moon and lunar eclipse, I see you) So she is also home with the boys today :)
8) I saw the end of the lunar eclipse this morning ( I was about an hour early leaving for work because I didn't have any kids in tow!), and it was so cool!
9) As long as the house is healthy this weekend, we are having a night out on Saturday. Tyler is playing with Disco Inferno at Lonestar (where I had my bachelorette party), and a bunch of family is heading out to watch, so we will grab a sitter and make a night of it.
10) I'm loving the countdown for the trip is ON. 40 days!
