I am loving the sunshine and the weather slowly warming up (though I would appreciate it warming up faster lol). It's so nice to be able to open the windows and air out the stale winter air from the house! The weekend was pretty busy! Friday night Ty and I were wanting to get out of the house so when we talked through the day I said we could and to ask his mom and step dad to watch the little man. I didn't know at the time but apparently they cancelled their dinner plans to watch him. I feel bad now knowing that or I wouldn't have had him ask! So we dropped him off and headed around the corner to Moxie's. I always love the food here but they placed us in a big circle booth in the lounge area and it just wasn't a relaxing atmosphere for conversation and to unwind. So we were happy to get out of there. There was just too many TVs flashing in our faces, tooooo many loud people talking and the music was 10 levels louder than it needed to be. So from now on we will only sit on the side where it's quiet and wait for that table! Lol We were happy to pick Garett up like an hour and a bit later lol we headed home and watched a movie and went to bed! Saturday we were planning to head to Cornwall but decided to go Sunday instead so the boys could go golfing and we could get a visit in. But before Ty played a game of golf, he wanted to go to the driving range to practise. At first he couldn't get a hold of anyone to go or they didn't want to go and I felt bad. Since I had been planning to learn to golf this summer anyways and he said he would buy my first set of clubs for me for Mother's Day, I said I would go with him if we went to get the clubs first. So off to granny's house we went again lol. (All these 1-2 hour visits is also helping me get more comfortable with leaving him...not that it's any easier...just more comfortable haha). We went quickly to Golf Town at Trainyards and got the clubs and jumped in the car over to Golf Land where Casey and Shannon met up with us to drive a million balls lol. I didn't do great but I can see how practise will make me better so I will go back, I had a lot of fun :) I was a bit stiff in the back the following day but that's about it! Afterwards we headed over all together to second cup since it was snowing and windy while we were outside and were freezing! Sat in there and chatted a bit then went back to Peggy's to get our boy and head home :) I threw a load of laundry in as soon as we got home and waited for Casey, Shannon and Matt to head over so the boys could watch the sens vs leafs game and Shannon and I watched movies and enjoyed a couple drinks before they headed home and we went right to bed lol. Sunday we were up bright and early getting ourselves and Garett ready to head to Cornwall. We all went out for brunch and showed Garett off to the waitresses that know my parents well by now and have heard lots about him haha. After brunch we went over to my parents place and the boys left to go for a round of golf and the girls hung out. We all had Chinese for dinner and then I gave my mom her Mother's Day gifts in case I don't get a chance to before then since we will be out of town for the actual day. Shortly after, Garett was getting tired so we headed home. I did some dishes and Garett fell asleep and hard. So we went to bed. He slept for a solid 10 hours before waking up this morning. He's down for his morning nap now and I am planning on putting away the laundry, finish the dishes, clean the bottles and relaxing! I really hope everyone had a good weekend and got a lot of relaxation and fun in!!
