It feels like midnight right now but it's 9:47pm. Craziness.
Yesterday was a relaxing day of laundry again. I got almost all caught up and somehow the hamper in the hall is full again. Wtf is happening lol
After I did some laundry and dishes I bought the movie Knocked Up on the Apple TV and watched that. Ty came home in between his sets of estimates and we watched an episode of greys and ate lunch and he took off and came back around 4:30 when I started dinner. I just made a quick spaghetti sauce but added some hot Italian ground sausage to it and some penne with garlic bread and Caesar salad. Shan and Casey got to our place right before 6 I think it was and we sat down to eat and before we knew it Matt and Stephanie were over as well. The boys went to the basement to watch the game and us girls stayed upstairs and watched Wanderlust. When the boys came up we watched some videos on YouTube and Matt and Stephanie headed home.
We all went to the basement and then rod and Sharon showed up and somehow we all ended up on the couch watching season one of Jersey Shore that I bought that morning lol. Casey and Shannon left and shortly after rod and Sharon left and we all headed to bed.
I was worried Garett wasn't going to sleep since he slept most of the night and only really woke up for me to feed him. I was wrong :) he woke up once around 6:15 and Ty fed and changed him and we slept again until about 10 this morning !
I got up and got ready this morning and met dolly at her place and we headed into town to go bridesmaid dress shopping. I tried on like 10 dresses, picked the dress, got fitted, paid and was home within like 2 hours LOL damn, we're good :) I LOVE the dress we picked and can't wait to see everyone together on her special day :)
When I got home we packed up the baby, his diaper bag and Grace's birthday gift and headed over to Gatineau. We ate pretty much right away (a yummy BBQ) and hung out visiting. Garett got a nice smack from one of the 2 year olds at the party who doesn't know his own strength (lol) so needless to say I hovered over him the rest of the afternoon to make sure it didn't happen again. Soon after lunch, Grace opened all her gifts :) I had so much fun shopping for little girl stuff, but that's just my inner child coming out lol. We bought her a Disney Belle play dough tea party kit, a crown shaped zip up carrier with toy heels/crown/wand/bracelet, etc inside, fridge magnets of Belle that comes with magnetic dresses so you can change her, colouring books, Disney princess markers and colouring sheets, and a Disney princess tin with Disney princess crayons and stickers I put inside. It's so cute watching kids open gifts, it makes me just want to go buy more and give it to her lol.
We left shortly after everyone sang happy birthday and cut the cake because Garett was totally fed up from being held by everyone and just wanted to be home in the quiet so we headed out and he woke up crying in the truck (which has never happened before) but passed out shortly after I fed him when we got home. He was laughing away in his sleep and it was the cutest thing ever in my life. I can't wait until he starts when he's awake :)))
Now to relax, eat some food and catch up on more Greys !! Tyler has his first rehearsal with this new band in the morning so it will be an early night for us:) enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!
