I wish I never found out Apple TV existed. This will be a costly endeavour for us lol.
Yesterday, I had some downtime and was tired of cleaning so I decided to sit down to a movie or two while Ty was gone. I bought Breaking Dawn Part 2 to rewatch since it was significantly cheaper on there then in the store! So I started with that :)
After that I was doing some filing of bills and stuff and decided to put on another one while I started dinner and finished up the filing. So I bought the movie Friends with Kids. It was great! :) There was a lot of the same people from Bridesmaids in it so I think that means it speaks for itself lol.
Then I decided I would buy a movie to maybe watch while we ate dinner when Ty got home. I settled on Pitch Perfect. We didn't end up watching it because the baby was sleeping and we didn't want to move him so we watched some episodes of Season 9 of Grey's Anatomy that we just bought the season pass for through the Apple TV too lol. Here's hoping tonight we watch the movie :) I'm excited!
Today Ty has another full day of estimates and contract signing so it's just Garett and I again :) Yesterday he discovered a love for Baby Einstein shows so I put an episode on and listened to him coo away in his baby talk and waiving his arms around at the colourful screen. I probably won't try another episode yet today--I read that planting babies/kids in front of the tv too much stunts their language development so I don't want him to be 2 and not talking since he's already making great strides and is advanced for his age in movement, etc according to our doctor, so why risk it?! Maybe a few days in between :) We'll just stick to reading stories and looking at pictures and interactive toys! During his morning nap after another 7 hour sleep last night, I baked up some reeses cupcakes for dessert after dinner tonight :) We're either doing homemade build-your-own pizza or I'll make some chicken, veggies and twice baked potatoes. Ty won't be home until about 7:30 so I still have some time to decide!
I could really get used to staying home and just popping out kid after kid and taking care of babies and cooking/housework. I didn't think I would love being a mom or being home with him so much but I never want to go back to work. I'm so much better at being a mommy :) lol
Oh, I also washed/sterilized and packed away all of Garett's newborn bottles yesterday :( We're onto the 1+ month bottles that hold 8 oz. Though he still only drinks a little over half of that per feeding, the other bottles almost didn't hold enough so I just decided to put them away. It's so sad. But I guess time will go by quickly and then I can take them out again :) lol
Found a few houses we'd like to go look at but Ty's days are about 14 hours as it is right now and just going to get longer and our weekends are booked up for the next hundred years. We'll have to find some time to take this moving thing more seriously soon.
Last night in the mail, I got my other new rings I ordered. I saw them on pinterest and wanted them! They're Chevron knuckle rings! I love them!!
I also received my ring holder I ordered--I am trying to find solutions for my accessory organization. I ordered the hand and a bracelet holder as well to place on top of my closet dresser with my earring holder :)
Well, G-man is down for his afternoon nap, so I am off to clean the washroom. Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday--only a few more days until the weekend :)
