I haven't been up to much lately so pardon the gaps in between posts lol. Monday I caught up on a lot of cleaning and then Dolly popped in for a visit and to see the baby and give us stag tickets to sell. Ty made breakfast for dinner that night and we watched some tv and went to bed! Garett has been very fussy through the day and we've determined he's started teething. Apparently children can teethe for months before they even cut teeth so I keep him busy with those cold teething things and try to keep him occupied. Still a sleeper through the night though, thank god!Yesterday Garett and I just hung out, played with some toys, read some books, cleaned out ore clothes from his closet and washed all the summer clothes I just bought him the other day. Then I sat down and rocked him and watched Parental Guidance that I bought on the Apple TV. It was a cute movie, I enjoyed it :) I also bought a copy of it for my mom for Mother's Day lol

When Ty got home we ordered some club sandwiches (since I need to go do groceries!) and sat down to watch Silver Linings Playbook. Again, it was good. It was a sad story that had a good spin at the end but I am curious as to how it won so many awards lol

Took a quick shower after dinner and went to bed and watched the just for laughs 30th anniversary and fell asleep to that. I woke Garett up at 7:30 for a bottle and he slept again after until 9 or so so I took another bit of sleep :)

Looks like it will be a Circe day out so maybe we will go out for our walk early today :) hope everyone has a good hump day!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
