 Again, nothing too interesting to post yet, and this weekend is proving to turn out to be a pretty low-key one for us, finally :) So as I am sitting here watching Garett playing away in his exersaucer and watching Sesame Street, I decided to write a blog about the shows and toys/products I couldn't have made it through the last few months without! I was so worried while I was preggo about what I would need, so I pretty much just bought every imaginable thing in existence. I will know better for my next pregnancy what works for me--but like everything else, what I use and what works for me may not be so fantastic for others! *ps. What a beautiful day! Mind you the windows are sealed shut and the A/C is on, but it looks beautiful out! It's just too darn humid and muggy out there to bring the boy out for our walk :( I wish we had the dry heat like the Carribean does so we could enjoy it more! Ah well--I won't complain because anything is better than all that rain (and snow...) How is it already almost June?! Really though. In my mind I knew the date but it wasn't until this morning as I was crossing off the last few days on the calendar did it sink in!There are so many things coming up to keep track of, I don't know if I'm coming or going. Yikes! This weekend Ty attended his fishing derby that he goes to in the spring and fall, so I decided I didn't want to hang out at home by myself with the babes, so I packed up, loaded the car, put out a ton of cat food and water for the kitties and hit the road on Thursday to go to my parents house. It was a really nice weekend with lots of visiting and I even went for my first round of golf (only 9 holes). We didn't have the greatest weather to do it, but at least we didn't get poured on! Since I really have nothing interesting to say (does anyone really want to listen to me blab about my overly boring night where Tyler cut the grass and how I did groceries this afternoon and spent an impossible amount of money? probably not). So instead, I will take my top items from my Bucket List. Which I'm sure everyone knows is a list you make to do before you kick the bucket. I have been building my list for quite some time, but here are my top "wants" from my list of over 200 things. 1) I have an enormous desire to travel to Italy. I want to see all the sights and travel around on foot eating in little cafes, drinking wine, and planning as we go! So I was looking through some old blogs I posted and noticed one I did with my favourite things, and you know what? Garett is sleeping so I feel like sharing again--my 2013 list of favourite things! hehe Beauty Products: 1) Shampoo/Conditioner I love is Matrix. The smell of this is amazzzzinggg. I discovered this brand at my hair salon (which is also where I purchased it). It is great for those that use a lot of styling products, but has really kept my hair insanely soft because I don't use many heat products on my hair. This brand also makes an oil like product to put on your hair after your straighten it to keep any and all flyaways away and just seal the straightness in, so to speak lol...well it smells the same and makes your hair soft, soft, soft (AND shiny!). 2) I have 2 different types of soap I like. I like to use bar soap when I have sunburns or am in the bathtub. The soap I like to use there is Olay Luscious Embrace soap (the purple one). It smells so clean and ...

Well folks, get ready. I hope you enjoyed the sunshine yesterday because it was short lived. It's supposed to be overcast and rainy for the rest of the week. It must also be a full moon or something too because Garett is literally a ball of energy today. From the moment he woke up he's been flailing around and playing lol.  I STILL need groceries (stupid holidays and stores being closed!). So last night, on Tyler's way home from work, he stopped and picked up some club sandwiches for us to munch on for dinner. He took a quick bath and I grabbed a shower and we watched Come Diner with me Canada (he would never choose voluntarily to watch this show, but once it's on and I get him to start watching, he gets into it lol). We went to bed fairly soon after because we're lame like that (and also the baby was sleeping). Well our weekend is over since Ty has to work today, but that's ok--long weekends don't mean much to me right now since everyday is like a Saturday lol. Friday night we hung out at home and watched game 2 of the Sens vs Pens series and enjoyed a Miller Chill Lime since I deserved it after all my cleaning! lol. I finished up packing our stuff and we headed to bed. Saturday morning we were up bright and early and showering, etc. I organized all the bottles and whatnot after Ty went in to work for a bit. When he came home he cleaned out the truck, we loaded up and headed out to Cornwall! When we got there, we went over to my parents place and unloaded all of Garett's things, hung out and visited for a bit and then said our goodbyes for the night and left. It was hard to leave, but being away was easier than I was anticipating. Every once in a while we would talk about Garett and miss him, but it wasn't anything overwhelming. The internet is so slow today. The internet God's have probably slowed it down to force people to go outside lol. Unfortunately, I have a lot of cleaning to get done! I do NOT want to come home to a messy house on Sunday. There is nothing worse than leaving for a night or however long and forgetting about the mess at home and coming back to it lol. So I am working hard to get ALL the laundry and dishes and scrubbing done before we head out :) I packed most of Garett's things he needs this morning and have the suitcase out to pack mine and Tyler's stuff ! Last night was pretty hectic it felt, but it was nice to get out! We just had soup and ham sandwiches for dinner since I didn't take anything out of the freezer. I had to leave shortly after Ty got home to stop at the grocery store for a minute, hit up the bank and get gas before Zumba. I really, really don't have anything interesting to say today lol. Yesterday evening was pretty low-key. Tyler got home around 2:30 because of the weather (it was trying to decide if it wanted to storm--which PS it didn't, it barely even rained here, but the skies looked awfully threatening). He had a few estimates he had to do but really didn't want to do them when it was like that outside so he rescheduled both of them :) We took a ride with the baby anyways to one of his job sites he wanted to check on to see how the guys were doing and then we came home after. We were planning on grabbing dinner when we were out but neither of us were very hungry then, I guess, so we couldn't decide and ended up just coming home and Ty made hot dogs. Thundering is rumbling around outside, I am caught up on bottles being washed and water in the kettle for the bottles juuuust in case the power decides to go kaput. Garett and I played all morning and now he is kicking wildly in the bouncer (thank God they put those harnesses in or he would fly out of it) and I am watching movies and relaxing! I am putting off housework, but in the back of my mind the floors are eating away at my happiness lol. They need a good scrubbing and I would LOVE to move the couches and clean under them.  Yesterday I finally got Garett's bouncer assembled. He seriously loves sitting in it. He loves to smash at the toys, but I can't help but feel he's still a bit young for it, but the box says 4+ months and he'll be 4 months on Friday, so by all means, if he likes it, I guess it can't hurt!.
