Well folks, get ready. I hope you enjoyed the sunshine yesterday because it was short lived. It's supposed to be overcast and rainy for the rest of the week. It must also be a full moon or something too because Garett is literally a ball of energy today. From the moment he woke up he's been flailing around and playing lol. 



I STILL need groceries (stupid holidays and stores being closed!). So last night, on Tyler's way home from work, he stopped and picked up some club sandwiches for us to munch on for dinner. He took a quick bath and I grabbed a shower and we watched Come Diner with me Canada (he would never choose voluntarily to watch this show, but once it's on and I get him to start watching, he gets into it lol). We went to bed fairly soon after because we're lame like that (and also the baby was sleeping). Turns out, Garett falling asleep at 8:30 didn't matter because he slept until 4:50, woke up for a bottle, sucked it down in 7 minutes and was back to sleep until 7:45 lol. God I love this kid.



Tonight I'm just going to make a quick pork chop and scalloped potato casserole for supper so we can eat quickly when Ty gets home so I can go do groceries. I can't buy too much produce though since we won't be around to eat it really until Sunday, so I'll probably go do another round of groceries at that point.

I wanted to take Garett for a ride today into town but I forgot the car seat base was still in the truck and I don't know how to hook it in without the base (I know there's instructions on the side but I just don't trust myself to do it right lol). Oh well! Him and I can chill around the house today :)

Yesterday I went a little crazy with online shopping haha oops :) I bought some stuff from Old Navy online, I  bought some strapless bras (TMI?) for summer since summer shirts always have ridiculous necklines/straps, etc that regular bras never work under lol, I also ordered another photo album I customized for Garett like the one I made from our Cuba trip (mypublisher.com if you want to make one!), some shoes from Spring and a bunch more accessories from Forever 21. I also have my shopping cart all ready to go with all my Mardi Gras gear for cousins weekend and have a full cart of stuff I want from the Rickis website but I figured I should hold off for a bit LOL. 

Well it's time for breakfast for me now...my turn to eat! lol. I hope everyone has a good day back to work and there's not too much to catch up on!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
