I'm feeling very unproductive today, but it looks so beautiful out, so we may have to go out for a walk or sit on the back patio for a while (Garett and I, I mean lol).

Yesterday was a long day of sorting through things, dishes, laundry, etc. I realised as I was going through Tyler's clothes and bagging up the stuff that doesn't fit him, that he doesn't wear, etc and adding it to the pile that these bags are taking over our lives lol. I am going to drop them all off at salvation army this weekend because this garbage has GOT to go. I doubt if salvation army will even use some of it, but whatever, they can sort through it and take what they want! lol

Then I went through Garett's closet and now the second rubbermaid of baby stuff that I need to pack away is overflowing. I'm going to go invest in some of those huge bins or else we will have 10 of these bins full in a few months!

After I was done sorting through that, I did one of my Zumba DVD's while Garett played on his mat and watched (he loves watching me dance, he thinks it's hilarious lol).

Once that was done and we were all caught up on dishes and bottles and diapers, Garett decided to take a nap and I finally started my new June Cosmo. I only made it through the first few real pages though--another magazine that is going to take me a month to read LOL

I also want to draw attention to one of my favourite products. I have only recently started using it, and during my bath on Sunday, I realised just how great it is. It's for the baby/toddlers, but I LOVE it haha. It makes it easy so if I take a bath, I don't have to shower also to wash my hair. It's a plastic thing that just clips on over the bath tap and it makes like a wide waterfall thing as the water comes out (makes it so easy to rinse your hair in the tub!) There is also a portion on the top (the green part) that holds bubble bath for the baby baths. You push the button on the front and it dispenses as you run the bath. Anyways, even if you don't have a kid, go to Babies R Us and buy this for your tub! haha

Anyways, after all that cleaning, I decided to catch up on the pile of clean laundry on the folding table, which I did, but quickly replaced it with more with the other laundry I did *sigh* it never ends.

Ty had an estimate at 5:30 last night so he wasn't home until about 6:15. We ate dinner--I made some baked potatoes, green beans and honey garlic pork loins. After dinner, we hung out all together, I grabbed a quick shower and then we laid in bed and watched the last half of the Toronto game (bahaha, bye Leafs :) ) and headed to bed!

This morning Ty and I got to sleep in a bit (until 7:30! :) ) and he headed into work and I got up and took out the top part of the playpen. He's a big boy now playing in the bottom portion with his toys :)  And organized his toys now that I can't store them in the playpen anymore LOL. Now we're sitting here cuddling and I'm watching the movie "The Other Woman" and dreading actually getting up to do things.

I'm so lazy today I haven't even had a chance to eat anything, so I guess I will have to make myself some breakfast at some point.

I did however accomplish booking our hotel room today. Tyler and I are going to spend our first night away from the baby in his 4 months of life. Going to drop him off at my parents for the night :( It will be hard, but there's no one I trust more with him, so we have to start getting used to it with all the stuff coming up that we will have to leave him for :( Looking forward to a romantic, quiet night away with my man at the hotel we had our wedding reception at, though! I think we deserve it :) So we are planning on dropping Gman off, then heading over to check in, get settled and head out to dinner at the hotel. Probably take a soak in the jacuzzi in the room and watch a movie on pay per view. In the morning, we are meeting my family for brunch at the hotel followed by some golf (my dad and Ty are getting me out on the actual golf course, so that should be interesting lol) and then heading home sometime after! Should be a fun weekend :)

Anyways, something to look forward to! Especially with all the busy weekends for Ty coming up, we need some "us" time alone.

Tonight I think I will make some mexican chicken, rice and corn :)

For now, I better take advantage of Garett's impromptu nap and get some house work done lol.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!
