Bucket List

Since I really have nothing interesting to say (does anyone really want to listen to me blab about my overly boring night where Tyler cut the grass and how I did groceries this afternoon and spent an impossible amount of money? probably not).

So instead, I will take my top items from my Bucket List. Which I'm sure everyone knows is a list you make to do before you kick the bucket. I have been building my list for quite some time, but here are my top "wants" from my list of over 200 things.

1) I have an enormous desire to travel to Italy. I want to see all the sights and travel around on foot eating in little cafes, drinking wine, and planning as we go! One of the most important things I think would be to taste true Italian pasta!

2) I want to travel the world, but I have a lot of specific places to visit on my list, each one for different reasons--sights to see, foods to eat, activities to partake in, but some are just for the beaches/relaxation, etc. One of the last tropical places we will visit will be Fiji. This is a trip to take with no expenses barred. The trip we want will work out to be about $10,000 so this is a later in life trip--hopefully I live to see it and get over my fear of little planes because it's a long trip and it's going to take a lot of Gravol I think LOL. Also on this "later in life" tropical destination list: Maldives and Bora Bora

3) Now that we have started our family (which was on the list and got checked off already--I undoubtedly would like to add "have more children" onto my bucket list), I like to think about the future. Watch my children grow, have a special bond with each of them and give them a memorable childhood. Then I think about things like, watch my children get married and have babies of their own (hopefully not TOO early lol), which leads to even living to meet my grandchildren and see all these things. I have heard being a grandparent is the absolute best feeling in the world, so I hope to experience this some day.

4) Wearing a beautiful wedding dress, marrying my best friend and having my dream wedding have been checked off of my list, now thinking to the future I would like to have a marriage as beautiful as the wedding. So far, so good, but truly beautiful marriages come with the closeness developed over time I feel. I hope we are this happy at our 50th, 60th, 70th and forever afters wedding anniversaries :)

5) Open a business is on my list and it is something I know will take a lot of long hours, bank loans and a huge leap of faith. I have always dreamed of opening a bakery ever since my very first business "Double 'A' Bakery, selling cakes made via mine and my best friends easy bake oven door to door. I hope some day my dream of opening a pastry shop comes true :)

6) I love experimenting with flavours and ingredients while I cook. Sometimes when I read a recipe things just pop into my head where I'm like "I know EXACTLY what ingredient or spice would make this taste better!". That feeling makes me hope to stumble upon my very own secret recipe that stays behind my sealed lips that I will only pass down to my kids.

Like I said, my list is huge. I wish I would include them all but some only make sense to me and there are so many different travel ones that it would be boring to the vast majorities, so I will refrain and leave you all with my top few :)

PS. I do need to share my amazing find at the grocery store today. Everytime I go, I always find something new to try,  so today, as I was reaching for Nutella (since Tyler can't live without his PB and Nutella sandwiches), I noticed Ah Caramel caramel spread. OMG. HEAVEN. I put some of this on a piece of bread and nutella on the other and stuck them together. It's a tiny bit orgasmic in my mouth. If anyone sees this, BUY IT lol I wish I had thought ahead and bought some vanilla icecream to put this in.

You probably won't hear from me again until Monday! Tyler is heading to a fishing derby with the boys tomorrow at some point, and I am packing up and shippin' out to my folks place for a few days of R&R and visiting :) Since I didn't get to golf last weekend, my dad is taking me out for my first game, hopefully get some shopping in and some sun soaked up (I think it's supposed to be sunny!). So enjoy your weekend, all! See ya Monday!
