29 before 29 monthly recap!
Update:
- Spend an entire day being pampered : I completed this on March 15 when I went for a mani, lunch and a pedi. I think this is as close to a full day of pampering I will get due to time restraints.
- Attend at least one festival during festival season
- Watch an outdoor concert (these are my favourite) :
- Go to the drive in
- Read 10 books So far only 2-halfway through 3
- Cook 1 meal totally outside my comfort zone : completed on February 14. I made a meal of all new recipes I generally wouldn't make. Welsh rarebit (with my own spin), homemade crab cakes with a spicy aioli (yum), beef Wellington (even made a little heart on top) and a chocolate mousse cake. We even tried out some new wines :)

- Try a new fitness class
- Take a cooking class
- Change my last name (I am having a hard time parting with my maiden name)
- Visit a new city/town
- Have my palm read
- Watch 10 award winning movies I haven’t seen before: Only 3 so far
- Try 5 new restaurants Done 4/5
- Get away for a road trip/girls weekend Booked
- Visit a zoo
- Make a herb garden (and keep it alive)
- 1 Act of random kindness (or more if the opportunity presents itself) Done
- Learn how to skate
- Try 2 new foods
- Lose 10 pounds Done
- Have a wine and cheese pairing party, hosted by a sommelier
- Find a tea that I enjoy
- Learn to make 2 types of bread
- Get all my pictures printed hardcopy and put into albums according to year
- Overhaul/organize all rooms, closets, drawers and cupboards in my house
- Ride a horse
- Go on a trip with Tyler Done
When I wrote this list, I knew it wouldn't get done overnight. A lot of the items are something that takes planning or is a process, but it feels like it's taking forever! I know some things won't probably get done before September, but I also know that the summer will bring many of these things to be checked off. Here's hoping for a successful 5 more months! :)
