Things I'm Loving/Not Loving Wednesday

What I'm Loving:

... This weather! We barely play inside anymore! Garett is loving all the walks in the wagon, and playing at the park/in the backyard/at daycare. When we come home, we have been playing outside until dinner!

... That I changed the batteries in my scale (they died right after we moved houses in September), and I have somehow lost 11 pounds!  I have majorly cut back on soft drinks, and we don't eat out as much--so perhaps that helped. OR the fact that Garett is much more active now. I weigh 4lbs less now than I did when I got pregnant. Motivation to keep going? Maybe.

...Tyler's concrete season being back up and running. I love when his hours are more in line with my work hours. We are up at the same time and getting ready together, both seeing G in the mornings and getting home within 30 minutes of each other at night. It's great!!

... Lots of random time off work coming up. I have a Mommy and Garett day planned for Friday April 24 (daycare is closed for a vacation day, so G and I will have a fun packed day.

...Compensation being so slow at work. Expecting a nice lump sum retro-acting pay soon :) Shopping!

...Online shopping. I go through phases of shopping in stores only, then online only. I am currently in my "add everything I feel like I want to the cart, and then not really check out " phase...which is a serious precursor to actually buying all of the things in the carts. Watch out UPS/Purolator, here I come ! I am sure they dread my address now haha

...Slowly spring cleaning. I would MUCH rather just have 5 solid days alone at home to clean every nook and cranny, but I can slowly do it as well. Yesterday I started our bedroom. Perhaps that means that's the next room we should paint? I am having a hard time leaving the painters beige behind (it feels so clean and fresh).  But when it's all clean and the scentsy is on--LOOK OUT, this momma gets on a roll.

...BBQ season is upon us! While we are firm believers in the all-year-long bbq method (we enjoy a good grilled meat year round), it just TASTES better when it can be cooked and consumed outside. (We seriously need to set up all of our patio stuff, but with the wind lately, it would be found in the next block!).

...Open windows! I leave the bedroom windows cracked through the day and it smells so fresh and crisp when we get home!

...New nail polish. While I have eleventy-billion colours already, I always seem to find one more hue I want.

What I'm not loving:

...Lately I feel like I LIVE at the gas station. What the heck? I am filling up every other day! I mean, I don't let my tank get under half, but still! Two days of commuting to work is half a tank of gas? Seems ridiculous.

...I love not wasting energy with no AC or Heater on right now, but I get used to that gentle sound--instead we have to run the humidifier all night for that white noise for me haha

...Being stuck inside when it's so beautiful out. Me and some girls from work are walking at lunch along the paths nearby. It's too beautiful to pass up!

...Things keep piling up at work. I can't catch up. Vicious cycle.

...Living out of town. I love the separation--from work, from social events, etc. I am a homebody. I don't like random "pop-in" visits from people and what not (with the exception of a few people). I am a private person, and I will never apologize for that. But lately, living out of town is a growing pain in the behind :) We are planning to move in the next year or year and a half more towards town. Also, we need to move and settle into an area before G starts school so we don't keep hopping around school zones. Decisions, decisions!

...ladybugs! We are getting them in the window in the bathroom? It's so strange..and there's a mix now of the red ones and orange ones, so I vacuum them up everyday because I'm scared of the orange ones. But, without fail, everyday there's 4-5 more in the window!!

...My hair. I'm just so bored of it. I think I'm going to cut it again. Maybe I need bangs? Something to make me feel like I made a real change without cutting it too short before summer lol

That's all I can think of for now :) Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Happy Hump Day!
