Oh, Hey Friday

...This past weekend, Tyler had the Cottage and Backyard show. We hit up Kidfest one day and hung out at home the other.
...Tyler's season is in full swing, which means long days, but early nights
... We picked up Garett's spiffy new glasses last night, and he looks like such a little brainiac in them, it melts my heart. I also appreciate that he seems to enjoy wearing them. He didn't fuss with them much. Though, the lady at the doctor's told us it takes up to a week for them to truly get used to wearing them.
...Tonight we are BBQ'ing and watching the new episode of Grey's. It will probably also be a play outside all night, even while supper is cooking, kind of night. Garett is such an outdoorsman!
...This weekend Tyler has a booth at the Pop Event in Cornwall, so we will be heading up on Saturday for the day.
...We have the heat off and have just had the windows open. It is fantastic, aside from when Tyler gets hot and cranks them open and leaves them open all night and I am frozen in the morning. Makes me want to go crawl in Garett's bed where it's cozy and warm!
...I started spring cleaning. I have my work cut out for me--because it also makes me want to decorate the next room (our bedroom) and my carts add up to way too much money on very useless things. But I WANT it all...quick, someone peer pressure me in to just doing it!!
...I am itching to buy summery stuff for my front porch. Just as soon as it isn't -2 overnight sometimes. There are a few rustic decorative pieces at a primitive design store near my house that I NEED in my life.
...I'm going to boycott buying any lunches soon. Summer months make me want all fresh, all the time.
...I need groceries. I also need time to do them. Does anyone have any extra of that they can give me?
...I need a manicure
...I need a massage
...I need a new hairstyle
...I want a new summer wardrobe
...I want to get my car detailed
...I need to go through Garett's summer clothes from last season. He hardly wore most of it, and he hasn't grown much in weight (just in height) since last year, so I assume most shorts will still fit , but will need to pack up all of his belly shirts :) Then more shopping!
... Who plans lunch hour meetings on a Friday? Don't people know I mentally "check - out" as soon as I wake up on Friday?
...Hoping to get the patio stuff set up on Sunday as well. More chance for Garett to play around outside :) Will reward him with a ride in his wagon to the park! I might even pack popsicles (aka yogurt tubes that I freeze and he thinks is junk food lol).
...I want to go home! haha
