Easter weekend recap--better late than never!!

Our Easter weekend was pretty tame! Tyler had the home show all weekend, so Friday was G and I hanging out. Daddy was home fairly late, but garett managed to stay up to say goodnight.  

Saturday my dad was up here bright and early, and took g and I to the home show to see Tyler's booth. Once we visited there a bit, we headed to cornwall for our family dinner, an egg hunt, gifts, lots of playing , and then came home. Tyler was home early, so we all got to visit for a few minutes, had dinner, and called it an early night. 

G wanted to sleep with the eggs he found at Pa's house, lol

Garett had a rough night. He was up quite a few times, until 11 or so. Then woke up at 7 on Sunday, and insisted we do our hunt! So up we got. He found 4 dozen eggs In probably 15 mins lol he's an amazing hunter!!

At the end, the Easter bunny left a bunch of loot:

-magnetic rub a dub bath boats 

- some more tools for his growing collection

-an ottawa mini hockey stick 

- a plush lobster Velcro throwing game

-a bucket of army men/tanks

- a new Star Wars cup

- playdough set

- some kinder eggs

- a bubble sword

- a sponge bob activity kit

- a batman light signal tactical flashlight 

-some M&Ms

After the hunt, we were hungry, so I made a big breakfast: sausage, eggs, shredded hash browns and toast. Daddy had to leave shortly after for the home show. 

We played all day, and headed to my mother in laws for a late 6:00 dinner. We arrived around 4:30. Garett and his cousin did a little egg hunt there, we ate, and lots of playing was done. His uncle tired him right out, and in the 6 minute drive home (right before 8:00) he passed right out. We got home, put a diaper on him, put his pjs on and put him in bed. He was out for the night. We used his early night to take advantage if the android box. We watched "Daddy's Home" (hilarious) and headed to bed. 

Monday was Tyler's last day of the home show, and I knew we needed to head out to the old house to leave the spare keys (the power was off for a few hours apparently on Sunday, so I also wanted to make sure everything was ok). I didn't want any of us to have to go out on a week night, so g and I went for a ride out. He was such a good boy running around verifying every nook and cranny was empty !:)

Of course, we had to do baths and everything when we got home. We had some dinner, watched some tv and were in bed early! Back to reality on Tuesday!!
