New house

Well, it's done. It has been for about a week, but being a bad blogger to begin with, didn't help the speed at which I posted this :)

We moved on Saturday March 19, started at around 9:30 am. I went and picked up a take 12, donuts, muffins for the boys. Lots of men helped, so really sped things up.  Around 11:30, I headed into town to the new place to meet my mother in law and some of her sisters to clean the new place a bit (wiped down cupboards pretty much). And I locked the cats up in the ensuite with everything they needed for the next few hours. The truck showed up not long after, and everything was unloaded by around 4pm. We ordered pizza for everyone, and I sat and visited with some pee for a while, then unpacked all the kitchen stuff (dishes, cookware, etc) as well as got the main family room set up a bit so we had a place to sit. Once everyone left, Tyler assembled Garett's furniture and we were in bed pretty early. Internet and cable were hooked up while we were moving, so that went seamlessly for once lol.

We are more settled in now, groceries are done, Easter is done, the home show is done. We are getting back to realit this week :) 

I have been home with Garett since the move, which I kind of loved (a lot). It gave us time to bond more, do some fun stuff, get accustomed to our new routine/home, and really focus energy on him to get him used to ideas of babies and new daycare. He starts at the new place tomorrow. I'm pretty nervous,but he seems to be excited. Tyler will be close to home tomorrow, so that makes me feel better. 

Wednesday I have to leave work at noon for another ultrasound, then we have an appointment at the lawyers to close on our other house. 

We have a slower week coming up, and I am so looking forward to it! Updates for everything else to come shortly lol

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
