Quick 20 week pregnancy update

How far along?
20 weeks today.

How big is the peanut?

At my ultrasound on Thursday March 10, baby was 9oz and 6 inches long, with a BPM of 141. According to the beloved internet, baby would be about 10.5 ounces now and 6.5 inches--the size of a banana from head to bum.

Total weight gain/loss?

down to around -6 lbs since beginning of the pregnancy (I had gained .5lbs at my last appointment)

Maternity clothes?

Not yet. My pants still fit comfortably. A few pairs are still a bit big. but the longer I can put it off the better..will be living in dresses and sandals soon!

Sleep?

Not ideal. It's like a curse. A wonderful sleeping toddler. A husband that sleeps like a dead person. But me? Peeing constantly, and can't fall asleep. If something wakes me up in the middle of the night, it's all over. I just stay up until it's time for work because it's impossible to get back to sleep. Grrrr. I'm a light sleeper to begin with though usually, so that's probably the main problem.

Best moment this week?

Finding out the gender, and seeing her on the screen again!

Symptoms?

Just tired. And the no sleep thing, but I don't count that because I was a bad sleeper anyways lol

Food cravings?

Onto creamy things now--milk still, cheese, mint oreo blizzards. Little miss is taking a lot of my calcium apparently, so I'm hammering as much milk into me as possible lol

Food aversions?

really rich heavy foods make me feel really sick, but only if I eat them. I'm doing ok for smells and stuff now.

Gender?

Girl!

Labor signs?

Uh, no. But suffering lots from that round ligament pain or whatever, where it feels like pulling when you stand or move too fast.

Belly button in or out?

in--it never even came close to popping for G, so we will see if it does this time.

What I miss?

Stomach and back sleeping . Add heartburn when I'm on my back to symptoms, I suppose!

What I'm looking forward to?

Moving this weekend so I can order everything for the babe! Also seeing the OB next week on Tuesday :)

Milestones?

the half way mark!

Bump?

Yes. It's taking over now. getting hard and bigger. But can't rival the side of my chest. That area is just out of control.

Comments

  1. Ugh the ligament pains are awful. I had them with Rylie from week 14 to 25, constantly.
