Point Form
- It's Friday (thought I would state the obvious, because I am quite excited).
- For reasons outside of our control, the house situation has not been solved yet, and we have to look at houses tonight. We have 6 on the agenda so far. I have to leave work at 2 today, pack the houses in and go get Garett afterwards. Daycare has graciously offered to watch him as late as we need her tonight so we can get it sorted out! She's going to get a BIG going away present :(
-Tomorrow we are going to go out for breakfast/brunch and then after nap time, the boys are heading over to Cosmic Adventures (Ty and G are meeting up with one of our friends and his son a little older than G, and one a little younger than G). Mommies are not invited, so I booked a nice long pedicure at my spa of choice :) I will also run some errands if I wish.
-Sunday I will spend cleaning and packing.
-Last night I took down most of the wall décor on the main floor. We are going to take all the screws out and patch over the holes for the new owners, and touch up the paint there first. I also organized all of the wall stuff to be put into a bin, and all of the small decoration touches are up in the cubby above my fireplace ready to be wrapped and packed up.
-I also went through the front hall closet. That stuff is mostly ready to be packed(mine and Tylers hats and mitts and scarves--G's are in the closet on the landing to the basement).
-Almost caught up on the laundry last night (one more load), then have about 4 loads to put away still. This is the most time consuming part since Garett likes to help every step of the way, and who am I to say no to teaching him how to do laundry and put it away ? :)
- 6 more days until we find out the gender of baby Wood #2! 9 More days until our families know, and probably 10 for everyone else!
- I watched the Teen Mom episode early this morning when I first got to work where Caitlyn and Tyler get married--and his vows had me crying like a baby. That'll learn me to watch anything on my downtime here lol
- My replacement starts on the 18th, so the slow transition will begin for my maternity leave (I think I chose to start on July 11, but have yet to firm up the dates with compensation). I think I won't stay off until Garett starts school that September, but instead will use some time off his first day, and in the mornings for that first week.
- Easter is coming up quick. Trying to decide what I should get G as his bigger gifts. I think this year we will do a mixture of chocolate and the plastic eggs with little trinkets inside. He likes both now (he was never much of a fan of chocolate, but it's starting to grow on him--he likes the little hollow eggs). We might be moving that weekend, so it could be a disorganized year for us.
- This month just started, and it feels like it's already over in my mind. That happens during busy months!
- The weather forecast for next week has me SO excited!! I don't want to get too ahead of myself and welcome spring into the forecast, but it's hard not to. I can't wait to open windows in the house!
- Hope everyone has a great weekend!
