How is it the weekend already !?

I legitimately don't know where this week went! It really went quickly !

Keira had one "off" night this week where she woke twice in the night, but other than that , has been sleeping 8-10+ hours a night. Praise little baby Jesus :) 

She has discovered her love of the jolly jumper --we tried her about 1.5 weeks ago and she was still too little. But now, you can't keep her from bouncing around in there , she's so strong!! 


Last night we went to the Sens vs Flyers game. tylers mom and one of his aunts came to watch the kids , and we left with enough time to get a greasy dinner from a place by our house. We had great seats, enjoyed a beer (two for me , and then some hot chocolate from tims ), and watched the game. 
The Redblacks were in the building, still celebrating their big win. They all came out and had a huge 5 minute standing ovation before two of them dropped the puck out of the grey cup during the ceremonial puck drop. Super cool! The energy was wild ! It almost made it feel like a playoff game ! Haha 

We ended up losing like two minutes into overtime , which is fine , we still get a point :) but unfortunately , we didn't win the $17,000 50/50 draw that we bought 40 entries into lol. Ugh. And I didn't with the $1000 Maison d'Or pendant haha. 


Tonight is one of my girlfriends birthdays at a pool hall, and I was supposed to pop out for a bit, but I am way too tired, and would rather hang out with my littles and Tyler. 

Supper is already made, and waiting, and it feels like a "let's all do housework and play!" Kind of night :)  while the kids have been getting some wicked rest , we are feeling pretty beat, so we will probably pass out once both kids are down (k goes down at 9) 

Tomorrow there is a parade of lights I would like to go see, but will have to see how the day plays out :) I'm thinking its a good opportunity to do Santa pictures this weekend, but may be wiser to wait for a week day for less of a line.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
