Meeting the Big Guy in Red

Last night was a fun one. Tylers guy clocked 12 hours in the tow truck, so he was in a really good mood also. When the boys got home, they built a little Fort, sat in it and talked and had a little snowball toss haha so cute to watch.
While they were out there, and I watched from the nursery window, Keira played in her crib, squealing away. #blessed

When the boys came in, we all got dressed and headed to Place d'Orleans to meet Santa Pierre. We waited in line for a few minutes before he arrived. When he came in, he stopped to see all the kids on the way to his chair. He stopped to tell Garett how cute he is and he liked his glasses, and that Santa wears glasses too. Garett held his hand the whole time and just stared at him in awe. My heart literally melted to the floor. So cute.
While we were in line, Keira had her bottle. They snapped the pictures so fast because the kiddos cooperated so well. Santa commented on how well behaved the kids were, and that Keira did very well. Then he asked Garett to stay for a second and tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. He just stared at Santa , so I said "go ahead , babe, tell him what you're asking for " and he said "could I please have a real drum set?" And Santa said "those are very fun to play, I'll see what I can do". Garett held his hand again and I had to tell him it was time to go. They got colouring books and Garett goes "is this for me because I'm a good boy?"  Haha super sweet.

When we got home, I made some Pillsbury pizzas, we cuddled up on the couch with the fire on, and watched some Max and Ruby lol

While I was reading Garett's stories, he stopped me and said "mommy, I think that was the real Santa". (I had explained to him before that the real Santa isn't always able to make it, so sometimes he sends a helper to relay the messages). I said, it sure looked like it, didn't it. He was a very nice man. He said "yes. It was him. It was really him. The REAL Santa. I met him". Needless to say, Garett had a good sleep last night. He is pretty excited to tell his friends he met the REAL deal last night. So magical.

Anyways, we had a really special night , looking forward to the rest of the week. Groceries, more baking, finishing the wrapping , lunch with two girlfriends and lots more family time!

  1. Are the pictures expensive? I think we're gonna take Rylie tonight or tomorrow. I have seen that Santa a few times and I love him lol

    1. No it's not bad at all! $15 and like other years, you still get the print out and he digital code to access online so you can print more if you want. Yah that's Santa Pierre. They have another Santa there as well , but he's not as good or friendly.
