What day is it really?!


It really felt like a Friday around this place. 

I did lots of laundry and dishes today. I also made the Christmas gift bags for daycare kids, wrapped our providers gift, Rod and Sharon's gifts , my father in laws gift and a gift for my mom before Keira's nap ended. 

Tyler came home early ; around 2:30. So I decided to go get Garett. Before we went home , we stopped at Party City for the plates , cutlery, table cloth and napkins for Christmas Eve dinner at our house. Garett picked a few little gadgets out also. Then we headed over onto OshKosh and got a few things, and some adorable little finger puppets (a prince and a princess ) so g could put on a show for his baby sister. 

We got home around 4:15. The boys went outside to play and string more Christmas lights. While they were out there, I cooked up some stuffed peppers for dinner. 

After dinner, it was late, so we played a bit, Tyler bathed Keira and I read to Garett before bed. 

Keira was in bed by 8:00 , so I took a bath, made bottles , and played on the iPad for a while :) I'm staying up late , meaning: tired tomorrow lol, oops.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
