Tuesday Aug 12!
Yesterday was a pretty exciting afternoon/evening. I manage to make it through the day at work without getting sick with excitement lol--We got home as all the inspectors/buyers and buyers realtor were leaving (all very nice people) and waited to get word. At around 8pm, all the conditions were waived, we hung out until 8:50 or so and signed our paperwork, scanned it and sent it back to our realtor! Done deal :)
We also managed to book our home inspection on our new place tomorrow morning. I'm kind of sad I won't be able to make it (I just want an excuse to see the house again...totally jealous of Ty), but I know Ty and the inspector are more than capable to check it out haha. Hopefully all is well and we can move forward in the rest of the process. We have until Monday morning to waive our conditions, so that'll be here before we know it :)
I'm already feeling like I won't have enough time to pack--we are running on fumes and have a million other things planned. I suppose I will plug away on weekends when we have free time.
Major problem--I don't WANT to pack any of my stuff, because I want ALL new stuf. The other problem being I can't buy anything before we move (don't want to move it), and I want to focus on one room at a time (say one room a month) to redecorate...really put thought into pain colours, wall art, decor, furniture...it's hard when half of me wants to do that, and the other half is so impulsive that I want to run out and buy it all immediately.I really like how the woman has it decorated now, and she has inspired me (possibly changed my taste in decor!)...I'm too excited about this...I need to be a stay at home mom/wife PRONTO lol
Some more exciting news on the real estate front--Tyler and his business partner (for business numero deux) signed the lease on their huge new store front. (for this store: www.kesselrungames.ca)
They are planning a possible soft launch at the end of September (or October 1), with their Grand Opening on October 4...they are very excited and already succeeding in just the online world of sales. With the community support in the area, the sky is the limit! So excited for them and what this means for our family.
Tonight, I have a couple coming to look at my old table. I love the table so much, but it is so dangerous for G (since it's a taller table--pub style I suppose you could call it). It only has 4 seats and is just not practical for us anymore :( Hate to see it go, but happy to move one less thing. Hopefully they buy it!
I'm getting sick and tired of cooking dinners--it's such a chore, and I wish I had someone to do it for me. Which means, I need to start adding more recipes in...we go through phases where I try all new stuff (and from that, I take one or two recipes that Ty and I really like and add it to the repetoire). I think I probably have 20 recipes in rotation, and I am just sick of them...it's like going through the motions...take out meat the night before and plan which recipe through the day I plan on making with it (each meat has a few recipes)....BORING..I need inspiration. Half of the hurdle is dishes---I can't WAIT for the new place (dishwasher, yeah!!). Things will change big time :)
I got to work at an ungodly hour this morning (6:47 am) because traffic was good...so the fact that it's 7:56 is a good thing, but the day is already feeling long (because I technically do 7:30-3:30 shifts)...guess it'll be an early day for me :)
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Hang in there..the worst day of the week (Tuesday) will be over soon!
