Why am I so responsible?!
I almost did the unthinkable...I almost called in sick to work because it's going to be a beautiful day, and my stomach has been in complete knots for the last few days, not sure why, but probably my subconscious is stressed out lol.
But, being the responsible grown adult I am, I sucked it up, rolled out of bed and put my big girl panties on. UGH...Ah well, call it one more sick day in the bank if something ever actually does happen--say....being sick....or something haha
I put my name on the wait list for parking at the new building we are moving to...sometime in the fall (thanks for the specifics on that one). It's 300 people long already (but there are 700 spots ), so we should be ok *knock on wood*
Since yesterday turned out nothing like I wanted--I picked up G, he laid in his crib for a while (eventually he fell asleep, but was a little chatter box telling himself stories in there first haha), I laid in bed, drowning in self pity (lol) and waited for Ty to get home. I had to go out to get some stuff from Shoppers and the grocery store , and to stop at the bank.
G slept until 7:30 and we woke him up and had some dinner. I made a cheesy spiral pasta and vegetables dish and G inhaled it like there was no tomorrow. There was a little leftover, which I kept for him to have tonight as a precursor to his real meal (wasn't enough left after Tyler took seconds to make another full meal out of for G lol).
We were all in bed by 9pm. I was supposed to pack up the rest of our novels, the dvds and blu rays last night, according to my packing schedule I wrote yesterday (Type A personality shining through, again), but I just couldn't muster up the care to do so. I will just double up tonight :) Or do the normal tonight and do the stuff from yesterday on a day I have marked as "rest" lol.
Daddy went to see G playing at the park yesterday with the other kids from daycare.....not a single smile, wave, high five...nothing. He totally ignored daddy, which made him sad. I said it's probably a good thing he has too much fun at daycare to care about us during the day....Ty was still sad, but, such is life. Now he knows how I feel when everytime I come into a room, he points at me and says "dada!" hahah (I'm not spiteful at all :) )
We laid in bed a bit before sleep and our heads spun with decorating ideas for the house (well...mine did, since I have free reign over the house--yay!), but Ty was spiraling out of control talking about the store. They take posession sept 1 and sh*t is about to go crazy in my house with visions of sugar plums dancing through our heads lol
I can't wait for our friend to come to town to get some more family photos done (sometime in Sept). The leap from a 10 month old, to the possibilities of now (if G cooperates hehe ) will be so fun to see!
Loving the gas prices lately--been filling up at $1.19 :) Amazing!
Someone just got breakfast from downstairs (best breakfast ever) and the smell is polluting the air on our floor and making me want some :( DARN. Might have to get it.
I can't focus now, because I'm starving hahah
Hopefully everyone had a great Monday night (or the best a Monday night can be!), and enjoy this gorgeous Tuesday if you are lucky enough to be able to be outside soaking it up--I feel as though our sunny warm days are numbered!
10 days to Windsor!
:)
