It's October 1! Random Post
My hair is a mess, so I threw it up (and it's short enough that it looks ridiculous up, so I am hiding out in my office for sure). Also, the bags under my eyes appeared overnight. Usually I have some darkness under there these days, but I have these little bags right now. It's not pretty. It looks like I was up all night crying....and I wasn't...Quite the opposite. Smiling in bed while sleeping by 9pm haha
It's just about time for a pedicure and facial for this momma.
For those wondering, the paint colour for G's room is called "Centre Court" but the picture I found, won't let me save, so you will have to wait and see the finished product!...Everything is purchased, just waiting on the last few things to arrive before painting and getting it all done :)
I ordered some clothes from Rickis last night. I figured it was time to buy myself something.
I also need the front hall storage bench I bought to be assembled, and the second baby gate to be installed (We did the upstairs one, but the one to the basement isn't up because we literally never play on the main floor). We will get to it sometime haha
Tomorrow our new shed is being delivered. We are pretty excited to get all the extra stuff in the garage (snow blower, etc) out of there and into the new shed. The tractor is in for repairs right now, but should get that back soon too!
I stopped and bought all the toonies I needed for parking last night--then I get to work this morning and find an email that I have a monthly parking spot now, effective tomorrow. So I went and paid for it and put in my deposit. $80 a month cheaper this way, and it's underground! So I may as well enjoy it for the month or two here before I have to start the process again at our new building! Now I'm one of the cool kids that don't have to walk through the parking lot :)
Took some ground beef out this morning--tacos for dinner tonight!
Ty has the derby/Geek Market with the store this weekend. It makes me sad not seeing him as much lately, but short term pain for long term gain :) I am blessed to have such a successful husband, who takes great pride in what he does. He is working hard now so that next year, everything is laid out where he only has to essentially sell the jobs for the concrete business and the other business will be a well oiled machine by then as well...we will deserve our trip in March! And then things will slow down alot! Can't wait!
Does anyone else have the urge to Christmas shop? I left work yesterday and it smelled like Fall outside. It made me want to run to the nearest store, buy stuff, go home and wrap gifts. I don't know why! haha I am pretty excited for Christmas this year, because G is much more coherent.
I need to go through all of his toys and box them up. I think we will donate to a Christmas Charity of sorts where they send the toys to kids in need :) We don't know of anyone in need of anything, so we feel better about that! Need to make lots of room for fun new toys! Perhaps a vroom vroom for Garett haha...Ty has been dying to buy him a motorized vehicle or tractor...once the garage is emptied out (almost there!), he will have room even in the winter to ride around in there :) Big boy.
I need to get an oil change. I am going to see if I can leave early tomorrow to get one before picking G up. Let's see what they try to sell me this time haha
Days like today I wish I liked coffee...I can barely keep my eyes open. I will just grab a soft drink from downstairs with lunch instead..
Ty is supposed to be home at a decent hour tonight, so that means a nice long hot bath for momma! I can't wait. I have 2 magazines to read that are piling up and two books to start (Heaven is for Real and the Fault in our Stars--I bought them both to read before I watch the movies).
I think that's it for today! I hope everyone is having a great week, enjoying the weather and taking advantage of staring out the window looking at the beautiful fall colours as much as I do!!
