Productivity at its best
Usually on Monday's I am dragging my butt, but yesterday was pretty productive!
Since I got to work so early (I know--on a Monday, I'm a keener), I got to leave by 3pm. I beat any/all traffic and got to pick my kiddo up a little early :) He saw me and grabbed his two crafts he made and ran at me as fast as he could screaming MOMMA. Be still, my heart. When I see and hear that, it just makes my heart explode into a million hearts full of love for that boy..
We went right home, and laid on the couch witch me , while we took in an episode of Caillou.
We played for a bit. I didn't cook supper. It was great.
Garett then ate his supper, and we coloured a picture.
Tyler got home, I ordered some dinner for pick up instead of delivery because I didn't want to wait 2 hours for them. Ty and G took a bath and when I got home they were in their PJ's waiting for me.
Garett went up with Ty when he had to pee and went pee on his potty!!!! We were so thrilled...he did pee on the floor in the bathroom two times immediately following that, but he is starting to grasp the idea..pretty good for a 20 month old :) Smarty pants!
Garett ate most of my french fries, I ate my grilled chicken burger. Then he ate some of Tylers chicken and bacon from his sub...he's a little mooch around our take-out, using those beautiful eyes to get whatever he wants.
I then went online and picked out Halloween costumes. Ordered. Check off the to-do list.
Then I picked a theme for Garett's SECOND birthday party. Half of a check. I put everything I wanted to order in my cart online and left it open...theme is subject to change based on G's interests over the next month or so..
Found part of the gift I want to get Tyler for Christmas.
Made G his nighttime bottle and he cuddled in bed with daddy while I laid out his clothes for today, my clothes for today, took my shower and got ready for bed.
We watched episode 3 of the new SOA that we are behind on...pretty boring in comparison to the rest of the season so far, but I know it's to help build up the climax of the finale season, so it's ok :)
Then we chatted a bit in bed before we fell asleep...the alarm rang at 6AM on the dot, and that was the hardest part.
I love productive days, but then they make me feel like I can take the rest of the week off haha...tonight I have to get G, head to the store for some drinks, diapers, fruit, etc and I'll probably just pick up one of those chickens and some salad so I can get out of cooking two nights in a row! :)
This morning it took me an hour and 20 minutes to get into work because of traffic...but coming from the west, everyone was saying it took over 2 hours. Some big diesel spill and then also an accident their way...good old Tuesday's :)
