Name::Amy Wood/Patenaude in some places lol Age::26 Birthday:: September 25, 1986 Birth Place:: Kingston, ON Height:: 5'3 FIRSTS:: Is this your first pregnancy?: Yep How did you find out you were pregnant?:Felt something different happening with my body, knew we were trying so took a home pregnancy test (or 3 lol) then doctor pregnancy test What kind of pregnancy test did you take?:ClearBlue, First Response How many?: I took one every other day or so for about 3 weeks after we started trying--turns out we were pregnant right away so by the time the one read positive I had probably taken about 10 What were your first symptoms?: None really--just a feeling/hope lol Who did you tell first?: Ty of course lol--Larry was also there so he witnessed the excitement. Then I called my mom and dad right away lol Who was with you when you found out?: Well I had a nail appointment that morning with my sister--then I left to get a test on the way home..so I was alone in the house when I found out but shortly after the positive results came up I was running around like a crazy lady! Was baby planned?: Yes--a very short plan lol. When was baby conceived?: End of April How far were you when you found out?:Around 4 weeks My BABY: Due date:: January 25, 2013 Do you want to know the sex?: From day 1 I wanted to know, yep Do you know the sex?:Yep!! If so, boy or girl?:.Boy! Any names?: Garrett, Anders, Sullivan--strong names ultrasounds?: I've had 4 so far Have you heard the heartbeat?: Many times Who do you think baby will look like?: Not sure!Hopefully a good blend :) Will baby have any siblings?:Yes, eventually--we think about 2 years apart is good. Have you and dad felt baby move?: ohhh yes. Tyler calls him an alien because he kicks freakishly hard lol MISCELLANEOUS: Did you have morning sickness?: For a few weeks, yeah but it was never totally out of hand--kind of came in waves during the day or just right before bed. Did you have any cravings?: Not really-- I really enjoy sour candy right now but nothing I can't just put out of my mind if I want it. Did you have any mood swings?: Uh, that's an understatement haha. Are you a high risk pregnancy?: Nope Any complications?: No Formula or breastfeeding?: Breast feeding hopefully, but we'll see how it goes. Have you bought anything for baby yet?: Yes he has tons of clothes and his new convertible bedroom set and lots of books and such. Waiting until after the showers to finish our shopping. When did you start to show?:I still dont think I look very pregnant..just fat lol. My clothes started feeling tight around 12 weeks though so I went and started my new maternity wardrobe. How long could you wear your regular clothes?:I can still wear a lot of my regular shirts, but some are too short now. Pants were changed to maternity at around 12 weeks. Are you excited?: Yes!!! Who will help with baby after their born?: My hubby, and I'm sure family will be there lots lol What is your favorite thing about being pregnant?: Thinking about the future, the amount of love you can feel for someone who's not even here yet and knowing you created this thing!! lol What is the worst thing about being pregnant?:Being more absent minded, tired, achy ... Oh, and worrying ALL the time..and moodiness :) What one thing do you miss doing since being pregnant? I found just the hardest thing is how many times you don't realise you say yes to a glass of wine--Just going out for nice dinners with Ty and shying away from most seafood and all alchol..it's not life altering but the habit of saying things like "I'll have a coke with that" needed to change! Any days you wish you weren't pregnant?: Not for a second Are you ready for baby?: Not yet--I don't have everything I need :) Mentally though, yes! How many kids do you want?: Maybe 3, we'll see how it goes. Do you talk to your baby?: All the time..and I read to him :) Do you still feel attractive?:Not really lol I'm uncomfortable all the time. I feel good when my hair and makeup is done but most days at work I'm so blahhh. Have you had your baby shower yet?:Not yet How far along are you now?:28 weeks today :)
