23 more work days, 23 more work days, 23 more work days..That's what I keep repeating to myself this morning as I push through another day. I need to go buy a wedge pillow--I'm surprised I made it this far with just my snoogie! I haven't had any problem sleeping--and I can still sleep whenever, wherever but it's not a restful sleep (tossing and turning alot) and 9 hours isn't even enough--I could literally sleep for 12-14 hours at a time if I was allowed lol. So that's my next investment anyways--hopefully it helps with the tossing and turning at least since everytime I roll over, I wake up with a cramp from relieving the pressure on my bladder on one side lol..not comfy! Last night I got home and Ty was already there trying to get caught up with cleaning from the disaster that his friends left behind (I refuse to clean this as I tried to keep up with it through the night and it just got to be too much and it wasn't even MY party--so it's his job :))..I get out of my car and this older man runs right up to me--he's raising money for needy people affected by the Government cutbacks to buy Christmas gifts..I am usually nice to these people but after a long tiring day I was more irritated than anything that he came up to me before I could even take a step away from my car--I told him no thanks because I would like to go inside as I just got home from work and haven't even had time to put my bags down yet..then he went on to try and tell me his life story, Tyler opened the door for me and I just went inside--sorry dude. I don't like pushy people and I especially don't like pushy people who get in my way after work when all I want to do is sleep! lol I cooked some supper and we watched an episode of Justified (I totally forgot we missed Walking Dead on Sunday night and it's on the PVR or we would have watched that--but we'll do that tonight!). Ty was pretty tired from his long day as well, so we went upstairs and I took a quick shower and he had a relaxing bath. I managed to get all the gifts from the Ottawa baby shower put away (I still need to wash all the clothes and blankets and stuff but that can be done later once it's all organized)..the big stuff is still in their boxes in the garage for Ty to put together but no huge rush on that right now--we'll wait and dedicate a whole day to it when we get a chance :) I organized all the cards after that and made an attendance list of who was all there and checked off the cards--I am missing a few cards that I know of--so thank you card writing should be interesting unless they show up some place. I have to email Peggy today and see if she came across any! Now I just have to go shopping for thank you cards--I wish I had known and I would have ordered twice as many that I bought for my other shower, but I'll just grab some cute ones from a party place or michaels or something instead! :) After that, watched some AFV in bed and played on our ipads until we fell asleep--oh and I managed to stay up for the premiere of the new Teen Mom...is it worth being tired today? nope. But I did it anyways lol. This morning, something must be going on--Traffic coming out of Embrun was incredible! And when I pulled into the park and ride there were ony like 2 spots left (usually it's like half empty)! Seems like a fairly quiet day on the horizon, which I appreciate--I just hope it;s a fast quiet day and not slow! lol Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday :) We're almost halfway there!
