Wow--a breather for the first time today at 2:35pm :( It has been a crazy day from the moment I woke up. I woke up a little later than usual as we went to bed a little later than usual and it was a VERY solid sleep lol. When I finally decided to roll out of bed after pushing snooze FOUR times, I rushed to get ready and pack my lunch. Heated the car up for 5 mins and yes SCRAPED the windows. I ran into bumper to bumper traffic all the way from Anderson because of a two vehicle collision under the innes overpass...thanks jerks, for not knowing how to properly drive. Finally I got to Blair and got to the stop to find an almost empty 95 :) The God's were in my favour there since I HATE standing on busses in the morning. Tim Horton's was slow as usual and walked in with 10 minutes to spare somehow! I got here at 8:50 regardless of the mess the morning was for me LOL.
I come to find that the admin I share an office with is not here today so I get to do her job too :) Plus, I have meetings and my own work to do. Happy Tuesday to me! lol
Last night I was SO exhausted when I got home. It was pitch black when I got to my car at Blair, drove to Embrun and had to stop at the store for milk and bread (random, I know lol). Trying to put off my big grocery trip to the weekend! Finally got home and was having some cramps, so as to not go into labour (lol) I sat down and Ty's phone rang--Doll headed over for a few hours, we ordered pizza and watched some of Avatar and Ty started putting his bar he bought together *sigh*. He was a busy boy yesterday--almost finished recaulking the washroom and scrubbing ALL the tiles (which for those of you that know cover wall, floor and ceiling in the whole bathroom lol)..and needless to say they were filthy dirty since the people before us must have smoked like chimneys in that room! That stuff just sticks to tiles like crazy! He also put together our closet organizer :) I have to go out and get stuff to finish it off though--baskets and whatnot though. Tonight I am going home, making something quick for dinner and vegging out! I don't even care! My body is so achy and tired, I need the rest!
Anyways, not much else new here for now! So I saw this on Shan's blog and decided to do it--never hurts to dream large! All dreams are attainable with or without the lottery and we'll eventually get there but the immediate satisfaction would be AMAZING lol
First 10 Things You Would BUY or DO if you won the lottery!
(I will also pretend it's the big $50 million lol--yah, right! haha)
#1 Pay off both of our credit cards--not much but we wouldn't need them anymore!
#2 Sell our house and build our dream home--not too big in case I'm home alone, but big enough for a growing family with all the amenities we could ever think up
#3 Sell our car/truck/trailers and buy all new stuff--me: Range Rover--Ty would prob buy the '95 Mustang he's always wanted and a new big diesel truck. He would keep working with his company (he would go crazy not working) so buy him some new mats for work and new trailers--and a truck for employees to drive around.
#4 I would quit my job that very day--there's no real point in me being here. So I would open my own bakery immediately and we would invest in much more commercial real estate than originally planned (which would ensure we stay stinkin' rich)
#5 Give each sibling a million or so and our parents a good sum as well.
#6 Prepay and preplan our funerals so our children will never have to worry about planning it. Death is hard enough to deal with without having to plan it after the fact.
#7 Immediately have a few more babies in a row--We would LOVE a house full of children but financially it doesn't make sense these days. Considering we would never have to worry about college/university or even have to open savings accounts lol, we would pop those suckers out--probably have about 4-5 kids total.
#8 Plan a trip to a new exotic or culture rich place every year (bring the kids once they're old enough too) and pick a special spot to renew our vows on our 5th anniversary.
#9 I would love to donate a nice amount to a local animal shelter--maybe even go in and volunteer a bit with the animals. They are always in such need of kitten food, and the animals need more attention than they get--soft spot in my heart.
#10 Enjoy each other's company and happily growing old together with a good chunk of constantly growing change in the bank growing interest. Our lives wouldn't change a ton--we would still live like normal people, always be working and teaching the kids to work hard for what they have...
The lottery would be fantastic but it would just be improving upon the perfection that I feel my life already is. We are SO lucky and blessed...millions would just be the thick icing on an already moist and delicious cake...mmmmm...cake! hahah
