Today is a much better day-I came in and things seem to have blown over. I still have the sore throat but I doubt that's going away anytime soon--I thought it was just from the dry house but my sister informed me she has the same thing and it lingers *sigh*..hopefully it's not that and it goes away soon! Last night Ty got home a bit early and we had soup and BLT's for supper (mmm)and watched last Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead--I am getting tired of this show--there are things that are starting to frustrate me and it's hard to watch because you just want to smack some of these people, but will continue anyways just because we've come this far and I'm no quitter :) lol We were in bed pretty early--I was so eager to go to sleep and try out my fancy schmancy new wedge cushion since that's supposed to help with pregnant girl problems of sleeping. It seemed a lot more comfortable of a rest, but it didn't really improve the quality or amount of rest I got with this stupid sore throat waking me up so much! I'll wait for it to go away and judge the pillow again :) I kind of want another one for my other side--so that everytime I flip over, I don't need to bring the cushion with me--it's a lot of effort when you're half asleep! lol I got all of my thank you cards written up finally for shower #1 and brought them in to work today to address them since this is where I keep all that info :) My doctors office finally called me today too--my first appointment at the hospital is next weds (Nov 28) at 1:15 :) I am so excited to finally meet the man who will bring my little man into the world and see the rooms so I can put my mind at ease that the instruments aren't all rusty LOL (my mind works like this, yes haha) Tomorrow night we're supposed to go to our prenatal class thingy at Ty's cousins--she has yet to get back to me with a time or anything, so I'm starting to panic that she's brushing it off again. I need guidance! If this doesn't work out this time, I'll just tell her thanks but no thanks and register for some last minute course..considering we were supposed to do this around 20 weeks..I'm now 31 weeks tomorrow--time is ticking away quick! Going to grab some nummies before it gets too busy and I can't get out! Have a good day everyone :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
