For those of you that have me on Facebook, you know last night was a big night for our family !

We did it! We found a babysitter /daycare for Garett . I held out and held out, waiting for the right fit, and boy did we find it! I LOVE her. She is great with the kids (only three others--2 one y/o's and 1 two y/o), home cooked meals, flexible hours, nice home, countless toys she rotates, huge yard, quiet road, an older daughter that babysits, etc--she is like a dream, and our personalities clicked as soon as we met. AMEN! So we signed our contract and put in our deposit (which was fantastic because other providers wanted us to pay full time rates to hold a spot!) and came home ecstatic!

Garett will only be going a few days a week come January when I go back sine Ty is mostly off this summer, so that's even better for him to get used to her and the kids and love going before I have to drop him off lolol he will be full time come summer :) 

This morning Garett and I went out to the bank and the grocery store to get what we need for tonight's dinner, which is chicken pot pie with homemade crust. Yum!


After Garett finishes this nap, we are going to go for a walk since its pretty nice out. It looks like a winter sky though, which is weird!!

Tonight is shaping up to be filled with laundry lol! Fun!

Yesterday our photographer sent us our teasers for our photoshoot, and I love them but I can't wait to see the rest of the shots!!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
