Oh-Em-Gee, it's FRIDAY
I am so excited for it to be Friday right now, I feel like a 7 year old waiting for Santa to toss himself down the chimney and deliver my presents!
Yesterday, I left work around 11 to grab some lunch with a friend before heading to my sister-in-laws shower at my old building. Well, one thing led to another, and I ended up not coming back at all :) I went right to my car, picked up G and went home. YUP, that's my kind of day (even though I still worked 4 hours in the morning lol).
Step #2 was done on the front walk when I got home!:) Today it gets cut, cleaned and sealed and will be complete! Woohoo! Looks a little lighter right now, but will be a darker grey colour when it's completed :)
After that, I finished up dinner--pot roast with mashed potatoes and peas. We played all night before baths and accomplished diddly-squat, and it was WONDERFUL. That just means we have to work doubly hard this weekend though lol
We talked to our realtor for a bit last night, and he said he was just starting to work on the appraisal of our neighbourhood--that he is very excited because there's no other comparable homes to ours for sale in the area, which means we have monopoly over that price point--we can aim a little higher (but not so high we scare off buyers), to get top dollar :) That's music to my ears! Sounds good to me. He sent a few homes for us to see if we want to look at, but being the OCD person I am, I have already looked at them online 10000 times. If I'm nothing else, I'm thorough. I know the neighbourhood and I know the market...I don't jump into these things blindly. Tyler has been begging to move for a year now and I'm just getting ready now haha. Anyways, the realtor is bringing the paperwork on friday next week when he comes to do our measurements and everything and we will be listed. I assume this means a sign in the front yard! Stay tuned for that exciting picture haha
Tonight will be another rush around the house. After I get G, we have to cook dinner, shove it down our pieholes, get ready with our questions again and head out to these two houses.

The first would be a project house (which would satiate Tyler's need to putter around), and the second is one of my pics (which would satiate my desire for a move-in ready house haha)...can you tell we are on separate pages still? At least we both agree up to this point on the houses we do and do not like as soon as we see them. Just takes viewing it in person...sit us down in front of a computer to look at houses, and there's bound to be an argument lol.
After that, I think it will be bed time for my little man after a quick bath, and we might plug away at the garage, so that we can get it done without G trying to help us sort through dusty stuff haha.
This weekend looks like a busy one between getting things ready for an upcoming yardsale, and having a million other things to get to....I want to pack it in and take a nap already haha.
I hope everyone's Friday (including my own) goes by relatively quickly, and that you get to enjoy the beautiful weather that is going to be this weekend!!
