What vacation?

I come to you 1) in the evening instead of the day, and 2)with a massive headache brought on by stress/a child that has found his outside voice/ dehydration.

It has been a whirlwind few days, yet was so long, I can barely believe it's only Friday.

Turns out I got daycares vacation schedule wrong by a day. So I had Wednesday to myself for the most party I went and got some stuff for the house, and an outfit for the following night. I sorted a bunch of stuff at home and then picked up G early. 

Friday I played all morning, and did some cleaning. My parents came to watch my little man while I went to watch another little man (lol) ,Bruno Mars...we were a bit peeved when we got there, as the show was slotted to start at 7:30 and didn't start until 8 (parent problems lol). Nico and Vinz or something opened and they were great! An awesome island/African vibe...very upbeat and fun to dance to...and they were so down to earth--great guys.

Then there was another 40 mins...we waited...and waited...and WAITED.

I seriously thought he was never coming out...

Then....the most epic concert ever happened.

The light show..the pyrotechnics...the dancing....the brass section....the singing (oh good lord, the singing) ....the pure animalistic sexuality that radiated off that stage was incredible. A true ear-gasm ensued. I have never been that entertained, enthralled and in love before. My only concern was that I don't know when he will be back. Be still, my heart.

G was sleeping, all tuckered out from playing at the park when we got home. We followed suit knowing it was late and may be up early....well, in true Garett fashion...he knew we were tired so he slept in until 8:) 

Tyler had to go to work today, so I played and frantically cleaned and did laundry. Our realtor came around 4:30 and left at 7:30 or so...all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted...the house is on the market, the sign is up. Just a few things to do before the photographer comes next week, and then will have the mls listing :) we priced very aggressively for the neighbourhood--we want to move it quickly (and hopefully). 

Ty and I also chatted more seriously about the reality of cousins night happening. He finally graduated to my school of thought. It's not feasible with everything else going on right now. We have cancelled :) (woohooooo) and are potentially thinking of a get together when we move into the new place instead. Such a weight lifted! 

Anyways...now I sit here, pondering my snack, and want to wish everyone a wonderful weekend :)

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
