Friday Eve

Seriously, it's not Friday yet? lol
We cut up all the boxes in the garage for garbage/recycling day...which we thought was today....we thought today was Friday.Oh well. At least it's all done for tomorrow morning! haha


Last night Tyler got home around 4, and wrote up some estimates while G and I cleaned the kitchen and played a bit. I roasted some chicken to put in the fussili and pesto from the market, and we ate around 6. Shortly after Tyler said "do you feel like dessert? I'm craving dessert" (I'm the pregnant one, but he uses me as an excuse I think lol) So I said sure, but unless I bake something, we don't keep stuff like that in the house. I always pay dearly when I eat really sweet things this pregnancy, so I try not to keep it in the house, because I have such a weakness for it :(


But we loaded G up in the truck and headed to Top of the Hill bakery in Orleans, a few minutes from our place. Tyler said, let's spend $50 here...yeah...$50 on individual things is gluttony lol. But we managed to spend $30, and satisfied his cravings lol.


G picked out a gluten free brownie pop--out of EVERYTHING, this is what he wanted. What a boy!
Tyler didn't even let me get the picture before he shoved a raspberry and lemon fruit tart down his throat, lol. We also got some Danish thing, a nutella ball thing (we haven't tried these), no bake peanut butter bar x2 (tyler ate his also, but I haven't tried yet) and that bottom left thing is a cheesecake, which is too big for one serving, so I cut it in half and ate that for dessert when we got home. Surprisingly, I didn't feel sick after! It wasn't too rich, just dense and delicious! We will be back for future sweet tooth cravings ;)

After we got home, Tyler had to head to the store to meet the co-owner for about an hour, so G got his bath, and we played in his room, and read a few books. He was running around naked with his Ottawa senators cape on singing B-I-N-G-O when Tyler got home, and it was the funniest thing lol


Garett went to bed shortly before 9, and we watched 2 episodes of Scandal, and I downloaded the new episode of Teen Mom to watch during my lunch hour today.


Today, Garett is staying at daycare for an extra hour. It's one of the little girls 2nd birthday party, and if he got to stay until 4, they have cake and open presents, so I told the provider that Tyler will get him afterwards, because he really wanted to stay (I think he thinks its his birthday, so that should be interesting hahah).


Other than that, not much going on in our neck of the woods that affect us! 3 weeks today is my last day at work! ;)
