34 weeks pregnant: update
I skipped my 33 week. Nothing overly exciting is happening.
I feel ok energy wise, but definitely getting harder to move around. I FEEL like the end is near, which is probably wrong, and probably only because I know moreso what to expect this time around and I'm wishing it away so I can just have her here with us. I remember only feeling like it was the "end" with Garett like two weeks before he was born. When I felt like I couldn't be pregnant for one second longer, and then it lasted right to his due date. We will see. The summer is also taking a toll. Once my new summer wardrobe arrives, it will be a bit more manageable!
at 34 weeks, baby is about 4 3/4 lbs, and 18 inches long--fat is starting to build up on her so she is a little more filled out when she is born--as seen in the last ultrasound, I know those little cheeks are filled out pretty well already LOL
Heartburn has returned with a vengeance--tums don't work. And often it leads to me getting a little bit sick right before bed. My iron pills also make me nauseous, so I try and take those only once I get groggy. Usually only wake up once in the night now to pee.
Lots of movement--and since she is running out of room in there, it's not the random jabs anymore, but instead it's that alien like movement. The rolling around and poking limbs out.
I have 7 more workdays (9 more days if you count the weekends) and then I am on vacation for a week before my mat leave starts. I have G at home with me for the first two weeks of July since daycare is closed, so looking forward to sharing some time alone with him before the little arrives.
We have added a few names to our list, and taken a few off. I wonder if it will be like Garett and we will pull one of the underdog names out from left field again.
I bought a ton of shoes off Zulily for the baby yesterday. Too many. But I bought an assortment of sizes at least, so hopefully she will get use out of some of them anyways.
I think that's it for updates this week :) Back to the OB on Tuesday next week, and then things start getting real!! :)
