Saturday recap

Saturday was a busy one. I don't think we were inside more than 20 minutes all day/night. 

We were up bright and early and took a trip to the grocery store to stock up on drinks and food to BBQ. Garett always likes to stop and chat with the lobsters (so sad lol). We headed home and the guys showed up with the gravel, one went back out to get the tractor and the others started digging. 

G was right in the digging action. He had them fill up his new dump trailer and would drive his little loads back and forth to the big trailer. He is quite taken with being "one of the guys" and has a seriously strong work ethic for a three year old. He didn't like them taking breaks LOL. 

While they were going to town on that, I went out to toysrus and walmart, picked up a little pool, a paw patrol sprinkler thing, and a shovel/rake/ho kit. I set up some toys in G's water table and he cooled off frequently in those things between endless sunscreen reapplications and outfit/shoe changes. 

It was murder getting him to go inside to eat snacks and lunch, but he managed to eat a bit lol at least he drank a lot!

A few friends popped in, and Garett played with their daughter until about 9 when they left. He was pooped and went right to bed. Everyone was gone by about 11:45 and we went to sleep also. 

I'm glad we got to have people over to get a gauge on how well the patio will suit us. We have decided to make it bigger by a few feet in each direction, so they will fix that up on Monday :)

      YUP! And are you coming to the sprinkle? You can come by early with Rylie so the kids can play and help me get ready if you want LOL

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
