A preview of Garett's Christmas (1st year with a legitimate list!)

Garett had a very specific Christmas list this year. Since he started watching YouTube channels of you reviews, his Christmas list seemed to grow rapidly. 

Here are a few things he requested that he will be getting :

1) he's been wanting a tool belt. All of the good leather ones I found are only for ages 8+ , and since he's got a slender build, I knew they would be way too big. So I found this one! 

2) my parents had one of these at their house and g really likes it (and so did Tyler haha). So I grabbed this one for his stocking 
3) some work gloves for outside when he is helping daddy. He has a pair already but they're too big, and they're for inside play lol so these will be a stocking stuffer also 
4) this book will go in his stocking. He didn't ask for it but he LOVES new books , we read 4 books a night before bed, and even though he has a ton, I still get sick of them. Plus, this was one of my favourites growing up :)
5) playdough everything. Since I know he's getting some kits from other people , I thought an abundance of colours since they don't last long , would be good! Thought this was a good sale, and a good shape to hold his stocking up straight :)
6) he saw these on a toy review. Easy stocking stuffer. Sold!
7) same with these. When you throw them on the ground they flatten out , then return to their shape. Easy stocking stuffer. 
8) he got this because of the headphones. He always wants to wear tylers. So now he has his own. Plus yet anoooother hard hat and pair of work gloves lol. But comes with cool goggles too!
9) toy review add. Velcro veggies that you "cut". They were super cheap.  I like that price tag!
10) imaginarium lego table. He wanted one like the dentist office, but they don't make those ones anymore. So he's getting this one. Plus, it matches his bedroom set :)
11) shocking. Another toy review choice. Optimus prime is his jam. 
12) he didn't ask for this, but had a strong inclination towards science and math, do I'm going to nurture that love. Science Kits!!
13) colour changer cars. His new love. Stocking stuffers !
14) toy review choice. He's been asking for this everyday for a month. Is it Christmas yet?
15) he dreams of a blue drum kit everynight he tells me. So, one of the things Santa is bringing him, is his first "real" and not baby type drum set.

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
