Vet, online shopping and sushi. You know, a typical Thursday.

Today was a pretty quiet one! The boys were gone by 7, as per usual. Keira and I had plans to go out, but the weather was horrible, so we stayed put. 

I did some online shopping for myself (shocking) , and a load of toys came from toys r us, that I had to hide. Garett discovered a hiding spot last night, so I had to move those ones and relabel them to be from us and not Santa. He's too smart now lol

I ordered more of his "homework" books off of amazon today also--he is OBSESSED. A little eager beaver for school to start.  Last night we started working on writing numbers. He worked backwards , and look how good his last 9 is! #proudmomma 

Tyler came home early, around 1, and we booked Steve a vet appointment (he's getting older, was getting sick, thirsty all the time). So there was a cancellation, and we took the 3:30 timeslot. 

Meaning Keira and I had to head out in the cold (ugh lol) to get Garett. Today she decided to bundle up a bit. Blankets in the car seat weren't gonna cut it. Her fall coat is so awkward when she is laying down lol but I love it. 

Garett was excited to see all of our Halloween decor was still there when we got home. Here's what it looks like :

You can't really tell but there's probably 8 headstones in the front yard, and bony fingers and hands and stuff sticking up. I took bad pictures because Keira was with me lol

Anyways, Tyler was at the vet with Steve. I thought he had diabetes, and he still very well might if the other blood work comes back positive for it, but all of his symptoms match up with what they told us he has. Tooth resorption. His body is essentially breaking down his teeth and absorbing them into his body. He is missing three teeth (we had no idea) and she saw one more that needs to come out. So he has to go back for dental X-rays and a cleaning/tooth removal for another $1200. But the upside is it isn't fatal. He will be fine :) and she said just to soak his vet food in some water since the hard food is painful to eat (probably why he's losing weight ) , and if he sill hates it then switch to the wet food (vets really have a hate on for wet food lately). Thank god!! I may have cried a lot before I left to get Garett. 

We got home and were going to go out and pick up our weight bench and weight, but would rather go tomorrow. We ordered sushi instead and the boys went to pick it up. I had some chicken breast to cook up , so I did that, and Keira napped her little heart out. 

Does anyone else find this week is flying by??
