Sunday of baking and craziness
Sunday morning was so nice and calm. After a chaotic /hyper Saturday evening , I welcomed this morning.
Everyone slept in until 7:45 (that's over 12 hours sleep for g man lol) but and then we decided to decorate some Halloween cookies. You can safely assume that every single one of those sprinkles found their way onto like three of those cookies haha.
While he finished up there, I made a big pancake breakfast while Tyler and Keira giggled away on the playmat. It was really a morning like out of a sitcom--and it's so funny how you can go from needing a minute alone for your sanity to marvelling at how wonderful your family is.
After breakfast, the boys got dressed to go bring the diesel back to the yard and pick up the f150 to bring home again.
Keira and I got dressed as well after they left. Here's what she decided to wear today:

When the boys got home, we cleaned the basement, did laundry, napped the baby, played , and we had a lunch of soup and grilled cheeses.
Tyler got some book keeping done, and I went through Keira and Garett's closets and put the stuff that's too small away while Keira napped.
We spent the afternoon playing and running around--a certain someone was very energetic (hint : it was not me lol)
Tyler took Keira to relax in a quiet room around 6, and Garett and I started on a chocolate cake and chocolate icing , to make Halloween shaped little cake treats for his daycare.
Kid LOVES to bake, so he was pleased. However, as per usual , he made a huge mess of kicking the spatula and mixer, so while it baked , mr man took a big bath.
After he was out, we "cut" the cake up and iced them and topped with some cute little bone candies, put them in a container and DONE.
He went to bed after a quick three stories and three homework pages.
Once g was tucked away, I laid out his costume and clothes for daycare, made my list of things to get at the store, did some dishes, switched the laundry over , filled bottles, pumped, washed bottles , sterilized bottles and took a shower. Keira had a bath and we all went right to bed.
She had a quick half feed at 3:30 (this post is brought to you from that hour) and then I went back to sleep !!
Happy Halloween! And so begins this day--Garett's last words before falling asleep : "tomorrow, when it's night, it's Halloween and I am very excited. But some bad teenagers might throw eggs! Goodnight momma" bahaha I don't know where he learned the egg thing, but it sure made me laugh.
