Halloween festivities begin !

Garett could NOT wait to get to daddy's store. The plan was for ty to go and I would bring the kids for a bit and we would all leave together. 

Instead, Keira went for her nap, and g was already dressed and roaring to leave. It was 10AM lol so I did his makeup and the boys were off to the store. 

The kids did some activities but most of the time g was the only kid--and if a kid has ever been in his element, it's my kid, dressed as a vampire in a Game store getting ALL of the attention lol

At 2 , Keekers decided to wake. She had a feeding and I got dressed and got her dressed and packed up. 

We grabbed some Wendy's for g and daddy and headed over. 
I snapped this before we left. I gave her a toy apple and she somehow grabbed it and put it to her mouth. Perfect!!!


Garett wanted to show his "pretty girl" off when we got there , so daddy carried her around to meet some people for a minute then she hung out on the couches in one of the rooms with us while we all ate and g watched cartoons and told me all about his morning activities. 
After we ate it was time to paint the paper mache pumpkin. G was the only kid, and being the bosses son , he was maybe given a little more paint than we would have liked haha it got splattered everywhere lol thank god it was washable :) 

Shortly after, we headed home about s20 mins ahead of Tyler , got unpacked and changed, g ran around and talked my ear off. 

When Tyler got home, I was at my mommy duty limit, so I left, alone and went to Walmart to pick up a couple things and get something for dinner. 

Can I just say, Orléans was CRAZY busy everywhere tonight? (Well 6:30pm anyways lol). Holy. 

I headed home, we ate, g played more and I took him up at 7:10 to do some "homework" and read two stories. He didn't even beg for more. He was in bed by 7:30 and I didn't hear a peep after that. 

Tylers cousin and two Other guys came over to play some magic lol Keira and I hung out for a bit, I indulged in a somersby and then at 9, her and I headed to bed. I had never been so exhausted. She had half a bottle and passed out, I finished one episode of Brothers & sisters and followed suit lol

 Garett will likely be going back to the store to smash the pumpkin (it's being filled with candy ) and then coming home to decorate Halloween cookies and decorate the front foyer with me :) I have a rack of ribs to cook up, and will figure out what to serve with it later lol (my meal planning game is falling behind these last three months--I'll give you one guess why haha) 

He will need a good nights sleep again because he will have to wake up early to get his makeup on for daycare. He's excited to scare all his little friends haha 

Then the REAL fun begins ! Haha

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
