Life lately

Life has been so random lately. Time is flying by, and I can't seem to get a grasp on it and keep up. Housework gets done and then overnight piles up again. Help! Lol

On Tuesday, Keira went for her 8 week shots. She was such a champ! I left her a little hungry before we got there because I knew one of the vaccines was oral. She sucked it all back in record time! lol the nurse said if they consume about 30% of it they consider it successful. She consumed 100% lol. Then a shot in each leg. I fed her while this was happening. She wasn't as squirmy as her brother was, and only cried for maybe 30 seconds after each shot happened. She was awake most of the day afterwards, but was in an amazing mood, laughing, smiling and Cooing. No fevers or vomitting or anything after. Thank god!

We have been out running errands getting stuff set for the wine and cheese. Girlfriend loves shopping. So much so that she always sleeps the entire trip, lol

We have an entire stores worth of Halloween stuff sitting in my living room. The boys will be decorating tonight if the weather clears up. 

Other random stuff:

Thanksgiving weekend went by. Garett had a blast playing with his cousins, and we stuffed ourselves full of holiday dinners and pie. 

We hit up the third world bazaar on the long weekend and scored some awesome Mexican glass pieces (a pitcher, stir stick, glasses, shot glasses, and a huge platter). We also bought a cool Thai wooden stool with a tractor painted on it for g to use in his bathroom, a Turkish wooden carved snowman Christmas ornament, some columbian espresso, and random little stuff. I love this place. We will be back next year!

Hitting up the park as much as possible while the weather still sometimes cooperates. Garett insists on driving his tractor (and wants to put some water bottles and toys in his trailer lol). The park by us has little paths all intertwining it, so g loves to whip around on them like its his own personal highway haha in true Keira fashion, the fresh air also makes her sleepy, so she always sleeps through these adventures 

Garett went out fishing. He caught no fish with his rod, but helped grandpa reel in a few little ones. He was pretty proud of his new Spider-Man life jacket , and also of how fast the boat went. Speed demon lol

On sept 24 I picked up my new Ford Edge and it's been a dream so far. I love that the interior feels as big as my huge charger felt inside, but that it's higher up. It feels much safer driving around in an SUV when I have two little precious angels in the car with me. 

I've binge watched many more tv series (have I mentioned how much Keira loves napping and sleeping ??). I watched all of the fosters, switched at birth, caught up on all my dumb reality shows and started Being Erica. 

I ordered Garett's suit and shoes, my dress and Keira's gown/bonnet/shoes and afterwards outfit for her baptism. I still don't know when it will be, but better be before 6 months or none of the above children's attire will fit anymore lol just need to pin down a date :)

Sorted through all of our dressers and end tables to thin out some stuff. Moved one of the dressers into the master closet and some other shelves in there for my shoes. A little more organized. Now I just need the rest of the house to clean itself. 

Got my outfit delivered to wear on our first date night /night out together in November. Because our experience was so awful with piano guys, we got to choose an event we wanted to attend. We picked Marianas trench concerns in November. I'm already dreading Leaving keeks for a few hours for dinner and the concert , but she will be sleeping anyways :( 

We've hit a pretty consistent night time sleeping stride. She averages about 6 hour chunks, often hits 7, and went 8.5 hours the other night. I made sure to check with the doc that that was ok, and she laughed. She said its fine but she bets mom woke up twice. Yup! I sure did haha freaked me right out. Also forgot to mention miss Keira is now 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. Doing well :)

I badly need a mani/pedi/hair appt.
