Hump Day!

How is it already Wednesday?? I feel like this week is just flying by. I don't know how it's already almost 10am. I feel like I just got here! But I guess there's worse problems to have in life than your work days flying by, lol.


Yesterday, I left a few minutes early, and the 3 minutes difference in leaving is incredible. There was hardly and traffic, and I winded up being like 10 minutes early getting G. I ran into the other little boys dad going in--G and his son have really hit it off, so it's nice to put a face to the names/parents of the child. Tyler met his mom last week. It's always comforting when the parents seem like good people!


We headed home, and my new shoes and recliner cover were waiting for us at the door. We checked the mail and brought that in too. Garett had a snack, and I did our census online. We ended up getting the long form (apparently 1 in 4 houses got this).


I did a few dishes while Garett was still occupied, took out meat for supper, and Tyler was home before we knew it.


Garett and I went into the backyard to play a bit while Tyler showered. We ended up meeting the neighbours on the other side of us (and the neighbours on the other side of them), and chatted for about an hour while Garett played.


We came inside and the boys assembled Garett's double rails, finally. I cooked dinner (spaghetti and meat sauce), called the hair salon to book an appointment for Friday, and we sat down to eat.





After dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen, we played in Garett's room and facetimed my family for a bit.
I laid out clothes for today when we got off with them, and had my shower. Garett was asleep by 9:15 and we watched an episode of Scandal.
